Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac with its own private allocated parking and just a short walk (0.4 miles) from the Blue Flag Carbis Bay Beach. Here you will find soft white sands, turquoise waters, fine dining, cafés and a Spa. This beautiful bay offering ideal conditions for stand up paddle boarding, swimming, relaxing and exploring.

A perfect location for St Ives (2 miles) with boat trips, seals, sandcastles and surf. Explore its seven beaches, St Ives Surf School on Porthmeor beach, cobbled streets, restaurants, shops, cafés and bars. Walk the South West Coast Path into St Ives a gentle stroll above the railway line, with spectacular views. Take the train at Carbis Bay Station, a 7 minute walk from Godrevy Watch and enjoy the 3 minute scenic ride into St Ives. Visit the Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum.

At Godrevy Watch you will find fresh and bright interiors. A welcoming and usefully lobby where you can store your coats, boots and beach gear, with a door through to your open-plan living space. A calm and quiet dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. A couple of steps down into the open and airy lounge, with a Smart TV, DVD player and Bluetooth speaker, making it a relaxing space for everyone to unwind in at the end of a great day of adventures. The first floor features a refreshing shower room and two bright, colourful, restful bedrooms. A comfortable twin and a welcoming double with glimpses of the sea, Godrevy Lighthouse and the island.

The house was very well equipped, warm and clean. Complimentary biscuits, coffee/tea/milk were a lovely touch & appreciated, as was the information folder. Included is an assigned parking spot. There are steps to the property so perhaps not suited to anyone with mobility issues. The beach is approximately 10 mins away- depending on your fitness as Read morethe hill is steep. Quiet neighbourhood. There is a car park across the road- very quiet when we went (June 6th) but could get busy at peak times as its the closest non private car park to the beach. Carbis bay beach is gorgeous. Tesco is a few minutes drive for shopping- theres not much else in Carbis bay- which we enjoyed. Train to St Ives is 5 mins away- runs roughly every 1/2 hr, takes 3 mins and cost 2.10 return. An enjoyable stay and wed book again. Hide

House was pleasant to stay in with lots of things to see and do. A warning there is a lot of steps to get to the property through the courtyard, not easy if you need to get a pram down or up. If you stay with kids we suggest Lappa valley near Newquay for a good day out and only 40 min away. The restaurant on Carbis bay beach had really good pizzas.Read more Hide

This property was in a great location - walking distance to Carbis Bay beach and the train station in a few minutes. VERY hilly though so might have to rethink if there are mobility issues. All of st ives is hilly though so may want to avoid the whole town if mobility issues a problem. The property was extremely clean and tidy and the owners have tRead morehought of everything from milk and biscuits in the fridge on arrival to a variety of dishcloths and washing tablets given which was appreciated. A couple of points to mention is that the carbon monoxide alarm beeped all week which was annoying and the bathroom light worked when it wanted to! Also the property has steps down to it in the courtyard and the lights werent working so made it a bit tricky in the dark . Instructions at the house offer guidance for all the facilities, including lighting. The courtyard light is motion sensitive and comes on when triggered. The cottage was perfect for our family of four and one dog. The cottage is located in a perfect location near to Carbis Bay. The beds were comfortable and clean. The bathroom and kitchen were also a great space and very clean. The courtyard is a lovely place to sit with the family while having breakfast or in the evening before heading out to dinRead morener. I would recommend this cottage. Great local restaurants, La Casita and The Gannet are within walking distance of the cottage. Hide

Godrevy Watch is a beautifully presented cottage in immaculate condition. All aspects of the cottage were impressive and very well equipped in all areas of the property. We were met by the friendly neighbour overseeing the cottage and made welcome. The cottage is in a quiet courtyard of similar properties and has lovely views of the coast.

The cottage is close to the beach, however its a very steep hill so if you struggle to walk,this would not be the place for you. Also we didn't realise that dogs are not allowed on the beach after 10am. But we could not fault the cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Godrevy Watch. The location was quiet and peaceful, yet conveniently close to Carbis Bay Beach, just a short walk away. The property was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, making it an excellent base for exploring the area.
