Polruan is situated across the water from Fowey and has a range of local shops, cafes and two good village pubs just a short stroll away from the cottage. The harbourside, with its constant activity, and glorious coastal walks are right on your doorstep, A passenger ferry operating all year round can take you across the river on foot or alternatively a 10 minute drive will take you to the Bodinnick Car Ferry.
