Newly refurbished, this lovely coastal holiday home has been put together with style and makes a super retreat at any time of the year. Sea Palling is a small coastal village with open fields and marshland to one side and sand dunes the other. Take advantage of its proximity to the beautiful sandy beach, which is a short walk away, as are the village shop, pub and beach café. All on one level, everything is here for a comfortable stay. The main bedroom features a king size bed, there is a well-equipped kitchen and a multi-fuel stove in the living/dining room to keep you warm on cooler days. From the village there is plenty to explore. The seal colony at Horsey, with seal pups a-plenty over the winter months, is just down the coast and whilst there drop into the café or other facilities like the beach pub, fish and chip shop, arcade or beach hut for hot donuts... The Broads are within easy reach and just inland from the village are both Weavers’ Way for great walking and National Cycle Route 4 if two wheels rather than two legs are more your thing! The world is your oyster with a stay at Sea Palling. The beaches along this stretch of the east coast are sandy and safe, Sea Palling is a Blue Flag Beach and there are 5 more to choose from between here and Sheringham further up the coast. The hinterland behind the village is a joy to explore with its Quiet Lanes, which are designated places for walkers, cyclists and riders and in the main the roads are kept as traffic free as possible. The Broads National Park is easily accessible and a beautiful area to discover with its 125 miles of inland waterways, pretty villages and the Bure Valley Steam Railway, which runs from Wroxham to Aylsham. With plenty of local farm shops and good pubs in the area showcasing the best of Norfolk produce, this lesser known part of the county could easily become a favourite to return to time and again.
