This ideally placed level storey bungalow offers the best of both worlds, a short walk away from the post office and general store, traditional pub The Village Inn and walkable to nearby beaches along Bigbury Bay. Enjoy further views from the comfort of the property, Island View overlooks Bantham Beach, Burgh Island and far reaching sea views from the dining room and garden. This welcoming bungalow sleeps four although there is an an adjoining walk-through bedroom that can sleep an additional guest. Ideal for families, this well equipped bungalow with a nautical theme is pet friendly (maximum of two well behaved dogs) has a good outdoor space including decked terrace and large grass playing area. Stay local or travel to nearby Salcombe or Bigbury, Island View offers a great base for exploring much of the surrounding countryside and beautiful coastal area.

Kitchen/Living/Dining room: Electric hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge freezer, Bosch dishwasher, washing machine, flat screen Smart TV (28'') WiFi. Sofa and armchairs, dining table and chairs. Fabulous views towards Burgh Island

Bedroom 2: Double bed (4'6) wardrobe.

Further Bedroom: via walking through Bedroom 2, single bed (2'6). 

Bathroom 1: Off Bedroom 2, Wall mounted shower in cubicle, hand basin and w.c

Family Bathroom: Wall mounted electric shower in large cubicle, hand basin and w.c.

Outside Space: Small garden to the front, decked area with wooden outdoor furniture and grassed area to the rear. Outside electric grill.

Parking: One allocated parking space to the side of property.

Short Breaks - Short Breaks accepted. Minimum of 3 nights. 

Security Deposit: This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £200, which is payable to Original Cottages with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.

Power and Heat: Electric heater on walls provided. Heated Towel rail in shower room.  Electricity included in rent.

Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided (please bring your own beach towels).

Notes -  No smoking. Wifi provided. Good mobile signal. Two pets allowed but sorry not in bedrooms. Please confirm on booking if you would like the additional single bed made up that is accessible through the master bedroom. NO SHORT BREAKS

A lovely cottage in a stunning location. The vie from the decking is outstanding and there are a lot of local walks close by. We had a great week and will definitely look at returning again soon.

We loved our stay in Island View. The bungalow is very well looked after and it has all the equipment you could need, it was also very clean on our arrival. The view is fabulous and the sunsets are glorious. Such a beautiful part of the country, whats not to like?
