Lovely, warm and well laid out house. The downstairs twin bedroom with underfloor heating and a wet room bathroom for ensuite was amazing for anyone, but especially for wheelchair users, loads of room. Anyone with accessibility needs, this is the house for you. All the bedrooms were a good size with views from each window. The family bathroom upsRead moretairs is a lovely bathroom. Plenty of parking. We found it easy to find using google maps. There is a single lane road to the house but it is easy to drive down and very few vehicles use it as there's very few properties down this lane. The house is a great base for travelling around the area. If you have a full EV car there are a couple of fast charging points in Tremadog, just drive through Tremadog village and there's a nice little cafe on the right hand side with 2 Fast chargers, very easy to find, it's only a few miles from the house. The house is situated in a very quiet place and is great for relaxing, with views all around. Access to the big building that's a ruin, just walk past the front of the building, on the lane that the house is on, and you will come to a small metal gate to access the grounds. I would recommend this house to anyone, it's a great place to stay. Hide

Exceptionally clean and well-appointed - even separate hairdryers in each bedroom and an iron/ironing board which was especially useful for us. Location is excellent for visiting North Wales (e.g. Anglesey typically 40 mins). We expected poor Wi-Fi due to its remote location but were pleasantly surprised to get 35Mb download speed, sufficient for 4Read more smart phones and 2 laptops at the same time. But there is no mobile signal unless you walk up the hill. Tesco's in Porthmadog is the closest supermarket (10 mins) with cheapest fuel (no kiosk - card at pump only). Although we took our own board games, there were plenty available and a WII, and a very useful pair of binoculars for identifying the birds. Excellent welcome pack including coffee, butter, teabags, jam, milk, Welsh cakes, shortbread, white chocolate and yoghurts. Hide

What a super cottage, very well equipped. The disabled bedroom and ensuite was ideal for my 90 year old father. The welcome pack was superb. There was a good supply of firewood for the log burner, which we lit to feel cosy, although the house itself was also warm enough. The owner was very pleasant when she came to introduce herself. You do need a Read morecar as it is on a country lane, but we knew that when we booked it! The phone signal wasn't that good which made me worry in case there was an emergency with my dad, but the property has a landline for emergency calls which was very reassuring and put my mind at rest. Thank you for a lovely break. We would recommend this property to anyone and would happily return. Hide

First time I have booked with original cottages. My favourite holiday cottage site did not have availability for the time I wanted to book. Hence I choose this company. I was impressed with the overall experience and would consider using company again.
