Built in 1887 this desirable holiday home, tucked away from the hustle and bustle, but still in the heart of the historic Georgian town of Holt, is a lovely double fronted cottage with beautiful interiors. Full of character, charm and presented with style and flair, the cottage is comfortable and makes a memorable place to stay at any time of the year. Cosy sofas await you in front of the wood burner stove – perfect for warming toes for you and your four-legged friend on cooler days. For budding chefs there is a well equipped kitchen and the cottage is only moments away from a great food hall, local independent grocers, fishmongers, butchers and more. There is plenty to do in and around the town and the North Norfolk coast, much of which is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is just a short drive away. Holt is a popular town on the North Norfolk map. Seek out its Georgian charm and character, art and antique galleries, fashion boutiques, food shops offering the best of local produce, cafes, pubs and restaurants, you will not be disappointed. Holt is the home of the North Norfolk Railway with its heritage steam and diesel trains to Weybourne and Sheringham, the 100-acre Holt Country Park and is only a few miles inland from the scenic coast, where you can discover bird watching, nature reserves, seal-watching sea trips, enchanting coastal and inland villages, Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, sailing, golf and wide sandy beaches.

Perfect location and having own parking is brilliant, although it is a little tricky accessing it! Well appointed and comfortable cottage.

We had a lovely week at Albert Cottage in Holt. The cottage had everything we needed, was welcoming and comfortable and ideally placed within the town. All instructions were clear and available. Would highly recommend and hope to return in the not too distant future.

Well located, comfortable and fitted with most of what could be needed, and a nice welcome pack. Parking extremely tight for a big vehicle, not helped by bushes, and don't try to turn right out of the drive. A crib will fit in the main bedroom with plenty of room at the end, though tight at the far side; several items to clear out of the reach Read moreof small ones! Lovely cottage, perfect location in Holt, so peaceful yet such a short stroll into town. Albert cottage is fantastic. A super location, just behind the town, with its own parking place. It is superbly equipped and the beds are very comfortable. Lovely small house with a small parking space! Clean and tidy and warms up quickly with heating on. Right in the centre of town and only minutes walk from some good restaurants.

Albert Cottage is in a great location, less than 5 minutes walk from the Market Place but also very quiet. It's a very pretty, double-fronted flint-faced cottage which has nicely decorated, good-sized rooms. It's also full of light, which we liked very much. The stairs are quite steep, with a narrow tread so they have to be negotiated with care, buRead moret there are wooden hand rails on each side. Overall, we liked the cottage very much. However, a significant drawback for us was the parking situation. There is one dedicated parking space in a niche beside the kitchen. We read the information about the size of the space and the importance of not blocking the shared driveway before booking. As we have a smail car (in the 'supermini' class) we thought it would be fine but getting in and out of the space was tricky with not a lot of room for manoeuvre. Hide

What a gorgeous clean cottage near the centre of Holt. You want a cottage which is as nice as being at home, this one ticks all the boxes. Our house cat had a lovely time and settled in really well, this doesn't always happen so we will definately be back next year as it has her approval. Quite the loveliest cottage we have stayed in.

Lovely cottage in an extremely convenient position for shops, restaurants and bars. Good to have a private parking spot, though this can be tricky to get into if you have a larger car. Comfortable furniture, very cosy.

Home from Home in Holt. Fantastic little property in the gorgeous village of Holt. Everything you could need for a week away in Norfolk. Parking included but please note the space is tight so any medium or larger cars need to be parked at an angle with a few forwards and backwards so not to block the property at the rear.

Would thoroughly recommend a stay at Albert Cottage. It is beautifully presented & we were very comfortable for our stay. Tucked away on a side street meant it was extremely quiet, yet only a short walk from all that Holt can offer. The coast was only a short drive away too. Looking forward to coming back next year.
