A visit to Cromer once made is not easily forgotten. This delightful Victorian seaside resort is, perhaps surprisingly for Norfolk, a cliff top town with all the heritage and tradition you would expect. It has a well-known Pier with seasonal year-round shows, and our famous Cromer crab is brought ashore here by the local fishing fleet. In addition, golf, tennis, squash, the Lifeboat Museum, a local history museum and a multiplex cinema are all here to experience. If you are looking for a good walk, take the coastal path, and if you have the energy climb to the top of Cromer church tower - the tallest in Norfolk - to get a bird's eye view of this lovely landscape. With such delights as Sheringham, Weybourne, the National Trust Felbrigg Estate, excellent birdwatching at Cley and the charming Georgian town of Holt also nearby, there is much to discover in this great corner of north Norfolk.

Lovely bungalow, really large spacious rooms. Beds very comfortable, kitchen well equipped. Nice mature garden and parking for two cars. Situated very close to town but in a very quiet spot. Was perfect for us.

Well appointed, roomy bungalow with good parking and facilities. Very well located for beach and town ( walking distance for both). We were a family of 5 adults with 2 cars and it was perfect for us. The only slight negative was that both showers were very weak. There is also a bath however which we also used. We would happily stay at this propertyRead more again. Hide

Comfortable property in a quiet location, while still being in a walkable distance for all Cromer amenities. Off road parking makes it a handy base for exploring further afield.

Whelk Holme is well appointed and is within walkable distance to all amenities in Cromer, but has the major bonus of parking if you want to travel around and visit more of the Norfolk coast and country. We didn't spend much time outside this visit, but the garden is secluded, sheltered and well cared for.

We enjoyed our stay at whelk holme. Nice large rooms and everything we needed was there. A little bit dated but comfortable and a great base for touring north Norfolk.

We enjoyed a lovely family holiday with the beach so close by and a great garden for cricket football and just to chill in. Cromer is a home from home for us all, Whelkhome is that also.
