Huntingfield is a pretty little village located in the heart of the Suffolk countryside only five miles from the bustling market town of Halesworth. The village itself is most famous for St Mary’s Church and its impressive painted ceiling which brings people from miles around to view the masterpiece. Its will worth a visit if you get the chance. There is also a friendly village pub called the Huntingfield Arms which serves food. Best to call ahead if you plan a visit, just to confirm the opening times.

Surrounding the village is a wealth of footpaths waiting to be explored, which will take you across some of Suffolk’s most beautiful countryside no matter the time of year.

For a greater selection of shops, pubs and restaurants why not take the short drive to nearby Halesworth or if you fancy a trip to the coast the very popular holiday destination of Southwold and its long sandy beach is less than 30 minutes’ drive away.

A truly delightful home set in a perfect location. The barn has been converted to a high specification and filled with good quality equipment. The loan of binoculars and an array of books and magazines helped to identify the plethora of wildlife. This was a lovely touch to make us feel welcome. The games room had table tennis, a dart board anRead mored table football. The walls were decked with photographs of the local wildlife. The owners were extremely welcoming and too time to show us around the land, pointing out otter runs, badger setts, owl boxes etc which made our late evening walks a real treat. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property Hide

A gorgeous place to stay. The barn conversion kept original features with stunning timber structure yet was modern, with quality furnishings and a luxury feel especially stone floor with underfloor heating for a cosy ambience. Very comfortable in every way. Well equipped with everything that we needed. Games room was ideal for family fun. The settiRead moreng was idyllic with access to garden, ponds and fields to wander round, and so peaceful. Situation was perfect for days out to historic towns and coastal villages, and plenty of good pubs for food in the area. All this was made even better by the warm and friendly welcome from Paul and Sandra. Totally recommend Dunnetts Farm Barn for a wonderful holiday. Hide

Lovely cottage, very clean, fantastic facilities, warm cosy and has a fantastic view over the garden pond. Friendly owners who are on hand if required, but to be honest everything was easy to use and worked. Would thoroughly recommend.

We had a lovely holiday. Our party included a disabled adult and SEN child, the facilities were perfect for both of them. The proprietors were so kind and helpful with them. We will hopefully return.
