Holiday in style! The Firs is located in a quiet part of the Churston village just over a mile from the delightful town of Brixham and offers a peaceful, high quality, relaxing holiday for up to 8 with 3 bedrooms. Sunny conservatory, spacious garden with private swimming pool and hot tub.

Nestled in a tranquil close setting this versatile holiday home provides plenty of space and suits guests of all ages. This house has modern, bright and spacious lounge-diner with large windows overlooking pool and garden area, sunny conservatory, well maintained garden area with numerous sunny spots to enjoy the relaxing environment. Take a swim in the swimming pool, have a soak in the hot tub or just enjoy the sunshine.

A fully-fitted and well equipped kitchen invites those who want to cook home-made meals during their stay as well as those who want to throw a dinner party, just to serve nicely precooked or delivered meals from restaurants that are a short distance from the property.

Upstairs you will find all three bedrooms, which offers a relaxing and comfortable sleep, they also look to the far reaching sea glimpses. The family bathroom and en-suite with the Master Bedroom are also on the first floor.

GROUND FLOOR

Lounge / Diner: Gas fire, sofa with two free standing chairs, coffee table, oak shelves for wine. Dining area with large dining table for eight guests overlooking the garden area. The dining area also has a sliding patio door opening onto garden.

Conservatory: Two two-seater sofas, coffee table. The conservatory is a sun trap throughout the day, bask in the heat, perfect year-round relaxation with book, cup coffee or glass wine.

Kitchen: Large Gas Range cooker, American style fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, Electric cooker- microwave, Breakfast bar, Nespresso pod coffee machine, 32’’ TV. This leads to the utility room.

Utility room: Washing Machine, tumble dryer, extra fridge freezer, extra kitchen cupboards for storage. There is a rear door to a paved courtyard with two ponds covered with nets for your security, however please do not leave small children unattended.

Sitting room or a "snug" room: For all the group to enjoy a nice and cosy time together watching movies on 65’’ TV on the comfortable huge leather corner sofa with blankets in addition for chilly evenings. You will find some board games and family movies for the Blu-Ray. There is an Amazon stick, but you will need your own log in details.

Ground floor bathroom: Jet-shower, washing basin, WC, hand basin, funky blue floor lights.

FIRST FLOOR

All the bedrooms can be found on this floor; far reaching views and sea view glimpses from bedroom windows.

Bedroom 1: Super-King bed (6'), chest of drawers, built in wardrobe, bedside cabinets En-suite: Shower Room with hand basin, WC.

Bedroom 2: Double bed, built in wardrobe, bedside cabinets.

Bedroom 3: Double bed, built in wardrobe.

Family Bathroom: Hand Basin, WC, Shower cubicle, bath with shower head, bidet, hand basin.

Utility cupboard: boiler, baby equipment.

GARDEN & PARKING

The property is reached by two private driveways and each has space for up to 3 cars, in total providing private parking for up to 6 cars. The garden is mainly laid to lawn with a couple of palm trees and other adult trees and the perimeter bordered with shrubs/bushes.

Private Swimming Pool and Hot Tub: Included in the price, but please be aware of instructions. Please use facilities carefully and please do not leave your children unattended outside in the garden area. Use at your own risk.
Trampoline: Garden is great for families with children as there is a great space to run around. There is a Trampoline (please do not leave your children unattended in the garden, use at your own risk) for fun jumping and a nice Sun house with toys and equipment for kids, even a local courtyard football match can be arranged. If you come down for active holiday you can use the Sun House as storage room for your bikes or other sports equipment.
Security Deposit: This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £350, which is payable to Original Cottages with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure.
Power and Heat: Electricity and gas included in rent; gas fire in lounge area.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided (please bring your own pool/beach towels.)
Baby Equipment: 1 travel cot and 1 high chair at the property.
Shop: 0.5 mls Pub: 0.5 mls

A minute walk away from the Churston golf course only more than a mile to Brixham town centre, nearest beach is Broadsands just 0.5 miles away. Loads of picturesque walking routes in the area.

NOTES: Please note, stag and hen parties are not permitted at this property. No smoking, No pets. WiFi provided.

A great property in a good location. We stayed as a family, and the pool and hot tub were big hits with both the adults and the children -- it would be a great venue for a group of friends (3 x 2) too. The garden and pool were larger than we'd expected from the photos, and we spent most of our time out here (limited only by the weather). Lots of liRead moreving space indoors (snug, split-level kitchen, living room, dining area, conservatory) as well as the outdoor space. We also liked the fact that it was set back from the bustle of Torbay, so it's peaceful and easy to get to sleep at night! -- but was very easy to get to either Brixham or Paignton (both 10 mins by bus, with buses every 7-10 mins). The local mini-market at Windy Corner is not very well stocked, but it's only a short (2 mile) drive to a good-sized Sainsburys. The owner contacted us directly to check that everything was OK on our day of arrival, so we had that direct contact with him in case of any issues, which was a good reassurance. All in all, The Firs was a great holiday home, very well-maintained, and I would happily stay there again. Hide
