This characterful one bedroom apartment is located on Whitby’s west cliff and boasts stunning sea views from its striking arch window, which can be seen from both the living room and the apartment’s beautiful mezzanine bedroom. With easy access down to the beach and a short walk to the town centre this is the ideal location, and dogs are welcome at the property too. The apartment also benefits from an outdoor decked patio which can be accessed from the communal area where you can relax and enjoy the fresh sea air. A great location but as mentioned in your advert the reserved parking is a little tight ! We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and wont hesitate to book with you again.

Very nice place every thing you need is there and everything is close by. Clean and tidy loved the retro music centre, we've already recommended it to friends thanks for the stay. Hopefully you a get the parking issue sorted.

This was a lovely place to stay, with easy access to the beach & town. Dog friendly - a nice touch providing a water bowl - thank you. The bed was comfy & the kitchen was well stocked. It was great having washing up liquid, paper towels etc.

A great little find. Perfect base for touring the area. Close enough to centre of Whitby to wander down, but away from hustle and bustle. Ideal for dropping down to the beach for dog walks. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and warm. Very well equipped. Everything we needed. Worth noting that the parking space is a bonus - but only suitabRead morele for a small car. The property was fine. Parking was ok, albeit a bit tight for the current size of average family vehicle these days, albeit 4 vehicles just about parked ok. Everything in the property worked ok other than the shower which was somewhat temperamental!! Location was good.

A very nice property, clean & tidy, just a few complaints, building works going on until 7pm on the Friday night & it was 10pm on the Saturday night, not conducive to a quiet night & also on the Sunday night there was a dog barking for most of the night, we had 2 dogs but one only barked twice & that was because she heard a noise outside. We did woRead morender if this other dog had been left on its own!!! There was some lovely walks along the beach & into Whitby & of course we did have brilliant weather. Lovely property with some amazing features. Fantastic location for the town and the beach in Whitby. The kitchen is really well equipped and has everything you need. I was worried about there being the bar/entertainment venue in the building, but you don't really notice. The metropole building itself isn't in the best condition, but youRead more only have to use the entrance to access the property inside. The car parking space is right outside the window alongside the property and there is plenty of room for all residents to park even with slightly larger cars. The only negatives for us were the bed - it needs a new mattress, this one was somewhat uncomfortable. And the cleanliness could have been better, it was a bit dusty in areas. But I would stay again if we were to come to Whitby. Hide

Door into cottage from hallway has a very week light and is only on for a VERY short time very difficult ti enter code and difficult to find keyholes, even at mid day. Small problem with easy solution.

This is a lovely apartment in a great location. Don't let first impressions (the communal entrance hall) put you off, it is clean and cosy once you get inside. Previous issues mentioned in reviews have been resolved, (the scaffolding is no longer there and the sofa has been cleaned). Despite being in a huge building which contains a pub and a chRead moreinese restaurant, it is very quiet and you would never know they were there. The location is great - very quiet and an easy walk into Whitby, close to Staithes, Sandsend, Robin Hoods Bay, Runswick Bay etc and the beach is directly across the road. It is perfect for dog owners! The only disappointment was that it lacks the added extras that would make this feel like luxury accommodation and it doesn't give the impression that you are particularly valued as a customer. There is no welcome pack, no toiletries and not a single bauble to be seen, (I was there for the whole of Christmas and New Year - all of the other holiday lets that I could see were decorated for Christmas). The bathroom is a DIY disaster but clean! All in all, a good property, I would stay again if I was heading to that area. Hide

Sandy shore is well situated just 10mins walk to the centre of Whitby sparkling clean everything you need in the kitchen cosy home from home we will definitely stay there again good value for money

Everything was fine but sofa and chair need attention. Pity about scaffold could be hazzard but work has to be done,other than that had alovely time thanks.
