A well appointed, clean and roomy residence within an easy walk to the town centre, which has many good eateries and independent shops. The location also makes many of the local popular attractions easily accessible. We would definitely stay here again.

Halesworth is a great base for exploring East Suffolk and the coast. Sadly the house did not live up to expectations. Dakings felt uncared for. Good location with many places of interest within easy reach. Sadly, the ant issue reported by a number of previous residents has not been resolved and we had to throw away some food items after the ants got into the packaging. We returned back from a day trip one day to find children playing on the rear lawn, so not entirely sure if this is a sharRead moreed space or not. It is only a short walk to Halesworth's centre which was nice with interesting independent shops, and the local CoOp less than 5 minutes by car. If it were not for the on-going ant problem we would recommend this property. Response from holidaycottages.co.uk: Thank you for your review. The cottage is well presented apart from these points: There are no wardrobes and we were disappointed by the quality of the bed bases and mattresses in both bedrooms. The main bedroom was fitted with two single beds that were not linked or fastened together, leaving a gap to fall into and the cheap mattresses provided no support. Adult feet end upRead more dropping out at the feet of the beds. This room would benefit from a better quality king size or super king size bed base with good quality mattress. Items that would be useful in kitchen would include a casserole dish, a salad spinner and a tin opener that actually works. The toilet flush in the bathroom is very hit and miss. Outside table and chairs have seen better days and are misrepresented by the photo in the property details.
