This is a lovely cottage, warm and cosy, spotlessly clean in a great location, close to the centre of Whitby within walking distance of everything. Very well equipped. The downstairs kitchen/seating space worked really well for us with a very young family and it was nice to have the separate cosy lounge for after they'd gone to bed. As mentioned inRead more other reviews and on the website, there are lots of stairs in general and in particular the stairs up to the attic twin room are very steep and twisty- not a problem for us but may be for some. It is down a narrow alley so access by car was a bit tricky (but doable - we have a biggish car and just about managed it, if you have a small car it's fine). Great to have a parking space as well but as before, if you have a huge car it won't fit. All in all we had a fantastic holiday here, we would definitely stay here again Hide

This is a nice central cottage but unfortunately I didn't realise it spans 4 storeys and the stairs are steep. As two adults we needed separate beds but the only second adult size bed was on the 4th floor and neither of us was confident of being able to negotiate the stairs. The bunk beds are too small for an adult so we were stuck with using the sRead moreofa as a second bed. We left two days early because one of us wasn't getting a food night's sleep. I'd day you have to be typing and fit for this property to be comfortable. Well that's our view away Hide
