This is a cottage to impress - from the blissfully quiet, rural location to the unique features and high quality finish, the games room, woodburners and breathtaking views. Newly renovated from a traditional Welsh barn, this stylish hideaway is perfect for your group get-together and can host everyone together in a large living / dining area. You also have the option of dividing the cottage into two self contained units (Beudy Tanllan and Ysgubor Tanllan). Set in an enclosed gated area, with its own patio area, it offers a stunning and generous landscape to explore in the immediate surroundings.

Ground Floor

Kitchen / Dining / Living Room 1 - A bespoke handcrafted kitchen made from local Welsh oak with slate worktop and ceramic sink. Oak beams and slate floors lend a cosy and rustic feel to the whole ground floor. A well equipped kitchen with electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine.

The kitchen opens onto the open plan dining / living area where the dining table is positioned in front of the patio doors to take full advantage of the breath-taking views of the valley and Cambrian Mountains beyond.

The spacious living area offers underfloor heating, slate floor, and patio doors opening up to stunning countryside views. Comfortable seating in front of a welcoming wood burning stove, TV and DVD player. High ceiling exposed stone walls and oak beams - a lovely room to enjoy quality time with your family or friends.

Downstairs WC 1 - Toilet and sink

Porch / Entrance hall - A spacious entrance hall with plenty of storage for muddy wellies and walking boots after a day out exploring the beautiful surrounding area.

Kitchen / Dining / Living Room 2 - Very similar in style to living room 1, also with a fully equipped kitchen and a dining table that takes full advantage of the breath-taking views. This is the room for the whole group to dine and relax together. The spacious lounge area features a second wood burning stove, TV and DVD player and extends to the adjoining sun room, also with stunning countryside views.

Downstairs WC 2 / Boot-room - Toilet and sink.

All openings have been made safe for small children with rails or guards. Stone walls, high ceilings and original beams. To Summarise - a word from the owners...

The local area has so much to offer and you can have some amazing day trips, but we really love life in our little patch of Mid Wales and feel that you can have the most memorable adventures right here where the pace of life slows down and you feel at one with nature. Climb a hill, watch the sunrise or sunset, build a den, dam a brook, listen to the birds singing, play pooh stick on the little bridge down the lane, read a book in the open air, fill a sketchbook with drawings and paintings, the list goes on.

Beautiful barn conversions with comfort and style set in the most idyllic location,. Our hosts were a wonderful family full of kindness and love towards their animals and we felt part of that family Everything you could need was available. The Games and pool table brilliant for times out or rest days from walking the hills and mountains. The workiRead moreng farm gave an insight into the lives and livestock of farmers. We were blessed with healthy sheep in the surrounding fields and lambing season was just a beautiful experience. You are away from main roads and general conveniences so going for supplies was a good trip out combined with walks and places to visit. Sturdy walking shoes are a must . The bbq was perfect for our sunny evenings meals. The views were unmatched with the rugged mountains in the distance. The windows are wide so you could see from inside too and the little reading area was a huge bonus. The top garden was great to observe the night sky and a safe playing grass area. Beds were so comfortable we slept so well . The woodburners were brilliant for any chilly evenings too as we needed them a few times. But the barns themselves are very warm and plenty of hot water . We will return. Hide

Beautiful location with stunning views. Wonderful, luxurious conversion with plenty of space in both Ysgubor and Beudy for us to get together and spread the 3 generations (18-82) through. Beautiful place to spend some chill out time and explore local walks and further afield. This was our second stay and we hop to come again. Thank you Rhodri and ERead morelinor! Hide

Everything about the property was excellent and the owners were very nice and welcoming. The only negative we found was the lack of Wardrobes to hang clothes in Llety Tanllan, although they were fine in the smaller unit attached that sleeps 4. .
