Overstrand is an attractive village on the North Norfolk coast, a ramp leads down to a sandy beach, great for beach games or a swim. Take one of our favourite walks along the beach to Cromer and then return as the tide is coming in on the path along the cliff top, passing the lighthouse on the way. The village has a variety of shops and pubs, is close to Cromer with its award winning Pier, cinema and other facilities. The area is great for exploring the north and east coast beaches, walking the cliff path, various inland cycle routes and walks, and for visiting the nearby historic houses of Felbrigg and Blickling Hall both run by the National Trust. Overstrand is an oasis of calm in a busy world but the delights of Cromer and Norwich are only a short drive away if you are in need of some retail therapy.
