The Old Smokehouse is in the heart of Southwold, only a few paces from the sea front, market place and High Street with its eclectic range of boutique and High Street shops in this renowned seaside town on the Suffolk Heritage Coast. This property is peacefully tucked away with two additional properties. A fantastic holiday cottage which is modern and has the ‘wow’ factor. The Old Smokehouse has a contemporary look whilst retaining character with interior brick work exposed in many areas along with oak doors. As you approach this property, it is a fantastic first impression with a car parking space, bi-folding doors to the ground floor open plan area and a balcony with glass balustrades. An outside area to the front of the property is great for relaxing and enjoying the weather with the bi-folding doors open, giving a real holiday feel. The kitchen area has glossy units and granite work tops with all appliances you will need for a self catering holiday provided. The single room is a good size and situated on the ground floor offering flexibility for guests and the double room on the first floor has open stairs and additional bi-folding doors leading onto the balcony. The vaulted ceiling gives a sense of space and once again, a great holiday feel. Shop: 30 yards. Pub: 50 yards.

Southwold Central - The properties located in central Southwold are all within minutes of the market place, with the elegant Swan Hotel, an excellent range of small shops including a greengrocers with fresh local produce, family butcher and delicatessen. The upper promenade is ideal for a peaceful stroll at any time of the year and provides quick access to the beach and of course, the lighthouse in the town is a good landmark. There is also easy access to the common and a nearby footpath takes you down to the harbour with the foot ferry to Walberswick (summer only). Don't forget that the beach is never very far away!

Perfect little escape. Beautifully renovated. Lovely comfortable beds. Light and airy and so quiet even though so close to the Main Street. Only a five minute walk to the sea and the shops too. Would definitely recommend.

Delighted with the accommodation, great for High Street and amenities and very short w@lk to beach. Welcome package was much appreciated. Dedicated parking spot a bonus in such a busy little town.

A very clean and comfortable holiday home, two minutes walk to the beach and next door to a very good fish and chip shop. Big advantage for Southwold of private parking right outside the door. Lots of good walks to the harbour and across the river to Walberswick. I have already booked two weeks for next year.

Nicely tucked away but so on the doorstep of all the conveniences of the town and so close to the beach and sea views.

A nicely equipped, recently built apartment, halfway between The Swan and The Nelson with parking. Behind The Little Fish & Chip Shop but we barely smelt it. The fixtures and fittings are top quality, especially the bathroom. Comfortable bed with a firm mattress.

A wonderful property. We have been to Southwold four times and this is the best place we have stayed in. Centrally located and an off-street parking space perfect! Would definitely recommend.
