This pretty cottage is situated in the heart of Fowey with the local shops and restaurants a short stroll away. The harbourside, 50 yds along the street, is a lovely spot to sit and watch the continual activity on the water.  You will see many visiting yachts, small craft, sometimes a cruise ship and the occasional military vessel passing by. Fowey is positioned on the South West Coast Path as well as the Saint’s Way so is an ideal location for both keen and amateur walkers. The town is a haven for water-sports and the sandy beach at Readymoney Cove lies in a sheltered spot overlooking Polruan at the mouth of the Fowey Estuary with the remains of the 16th century St Catherine’s Castle standing on the headland above.

The cottage is well-laid out with a spacious, open-plan ground floor living room and two bedrooms and bathroom on the first floor. There’s an appealing courtyard at the rear which catches the sun through the day and a great place to sit out and read a book. 45 North Street is perfect for either a small group or a couple and offers flexible bookings throughout the year so you can stay for 3 days or more at any time.

Bathroom: P-shaped bath with double head shower over, basin, w.c. heated towel rail

GARDEN & PARKING: Small paved courtyard to the rear with bistro set (rear access shared with neighbours) and the quayside is right across the road. Public parking available a 5 minute level walk away with unloading possible outside the property.

Lovely little cottage walking distance to and from all of Fowey. Car park is a five min walk. There is a nice restaurant a few doors down which you need to book for dinner.

A comfortable and very attractive cottage, very close to the ferry, car park and town centre. Light, airy and beautifully decorated. Really appreciated having lots of hooks around.

We absolutely loved the the property. We have been to Fowey many times and know it well, so it was great to stay in a lovely property, equipped with everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. We had a wonderful stay, the cottage is in a excellent position with just a short walk to shops, restaurants, bars. Fowey is a beautiful area and we used it as a base to visit all the surrounding areas ie: Polruan, Looe, Polperro, Mevagissey, Par beach and St Ives.
