Pendeen Hayloft is an exquisitely finished cosy, romantic bolthole for couples searching for an idyllic escape in Cornwall. Located in the small hamlet of Pothole, near the village of Sticker, it boasts lush green countryside views, original exposed stone walls in the hallway and master bedroom and your very own custom country kitchen. You will be able to spot the neighbouring stud farms Welsh and Connemara ponies in the surrounding fields and enjoy the total piece and quiet whilst you dine alfresco, or enjoy a morning coffee, in your own private kitchen garden. The open plan kitchen/diner also offers guests a great place to relax, with a cosy lounge upstairs to also enjoy.

Its central location makes both North and South coastlines easily accessible; the South with its long sandy beaches, historic ports, secluded creeks and the Eden Project, and the North with its dramatic cliffs, quiet coves, grand country houses and historic market towns.  There is a fabulous local pub with great food 2 miles away and plenty of other restaurants to try locally.

The village of Sticker, which has its own traditional pub and post office stores, is situated 3 miles from St Austell and less than a 15 minute drive to the coast and beaches of the Cornish Riviera. A short drive will take you to the quaint fishing port of Mevagissey with its range of gift shops, galleries, cafes and restaurants. You can also catch a ferry to Fowey or take a fishing trip from the harbour. Be sure to pay a visit to the famous Eden Project and Charlestown - featured in the Poldark series - whilst you are here.

A delightfully cosy place in the heart of Cornwall, perfect for exploring. The kitchen and bathroom are very modern and have all the amenities you need. The upstairs bedroom has lots of storage for your belongings, and the cosy living room is great for those rainy evenings to relax in and watch a film. Terry and Lesley have made such a fantastic plRead moreace, perfect for a couple and their dog. They are both very friendly but equally they leave you to your own devices to have a private holiday. The location is fantastic, just off the A390, great for exploring Cornwall, and for access to St Austell and the shops in just 10 minutes. The garden is lovely with a little sun trap seating area and bench for alfresco drinks and dinner. I would absolutely recommend the Pendeen Hayloft as a place to stay! Hide

We had a lovely time at the cottage. It was very nice and very cozy! The owners were very friendly they gave us a warm welcome and checked in on us half way when we walked by if everything was alright and if we needed something we could just knock on their door. And the day before we left they came to us and asked how our stay was and gave us the dRead moreetails for the check-out. I would really recommend this house it gives a really home feeling. Hide
