Brynderwen is a beautiful stone carbon neutral former farmhouse in a secluded rural location, at the end of a no through lane, with stunning far-reaching views over the Mid Wales countryside from all principal rooms. The house has been recently renovated to a very high standard, with quality furnishings and fittings and attention to detail. There is also an excellent range of facilities at the property – TV lounge with Smart TV, hot tub and table tennis table – so you may not want to venture far once you have arrived at this peaceful, relaxing holiday base! Dog friendly, too – but beware! sheep in the neighbouring fields are your nearest neighbours. This cottage boasts it's energy efficiency through powering the property though the use of solar panels. Firewood for the log burner and hot tub comes from wind fall timber sourced from a local family business 3 miles away. Furthermore, water also comes from a borehole behind the house where the waste water is returned back into the ground via the treatment plant in the field. Nestled amidst nature, the shepherd's hut is a charming retreat that offers a warm and inviting atmosphere. With two comfortable chairs positioned to capture the stunning landscape, it serves as a true paradise for birdwatchers. Complete with blankets and pillows, the hut invites you to relax and unwind in comfort after a day of exploring the great outdoors.

The cottage was perfect, everything we needed, stunning scenery, very private. The kids( in their 20's) loved the tabletennis and the corn hole game, kept them entertained for hours and was such a laugh. I would definitely recommend. We had such a fantastic holiday

Arrived Monday evening, awoke Tuesday morning in a Welsh winter wonderland, we felt truly blessed. Cannot fault the cottage, homely, very comfortable, warm and a great size. If you want to get away from it all then Brynderwen is the perfect spot....no noise (except for the occasional sheep bleat!), expansive rural views across beautiful hillsides, red kites circling overhead and the best starry sky you can imagine. You can have car free days enjoying the garden views and (muddy!) Owain Glyndwr Trail running very close Read moreby. The house itself is beautifully restored, classy yet comfy, with lots of natural wood and stone. The outside covered table tennis is a real bonus, as is the hot tub when you have the time to stoke it up. All the family loved it here and we made memories that will last a lifetime Hide

Brynderwen was the perfect holiday destination for us. The cottage is situated in the heart of Wales with lovely views and no close neighbours apart from the cows and sheep. Everything we needed was there and more. The basement TV room was a great extra as the children often went down there to watch Netflix in the evening. We had a few matches of tRead moreable tennis and the bbq amd hot tub had good use too. There is plenty to do in all directions, we did waterfall walks, the beach, snowdon and steam train rides, with plenty more we didn't have time to do. It's the perfect getaway for families, friends or couples whether you want to explore or relax and hopefully we will be back. Hide
