Brynderwen is a beautiful stone carbon neutral former farmhouse in a secluded rural location, at the end of a no through lane, with stunning far-reaching views over the Mid Wales countryside from all principal rooms. The house has been recently renovated to a very high standard, with quality furnishings and fittings and attention to detail. There is also an excellent range of facilities at the property – TV lounge with Smart TV, hot tub and table tennis table – so you may not want to venture far once you have arrived at this peaceful, relaxing holiday base! Dog friendly, too – but beware! sheep in the neighbouring fields are your nearest neighbours. The owners are mindful of energy efficiency. The cottage's eco credentials include solar power, and water from a borehole, with waste water returned back into the ground via the treatment plant in the field. The firewood for the log burner and hot tub comes from fall timber sourced from a local family business 3 miles away. Nestled amidst nature, the shepherd's hut is a charming retreat that offers a warm and inviting atmosphere. With two comfortable chairs positioned to capture the stunning landscape, it serves as a true paradise for birdwatchers. Complete with blankets and pillows, the hut invites you to relax and unwind in comfort after a day of exploring the great outdoors.

We had a fantastic holiday in this beautiful cottage. Definitely need to be organised with food etc as half an hour from a shop, but so much had been provided by the owners in their welcome pack.

We had a wonderful stay at Brynderwen, a real home from home. The location was perfect - peaceful, beautiful views, surrounded by trees and fields - and not forgetting the sheep! The property had everything we needed and the hot tub, tv room and table tennis were added bonuses! We will be recommending this place to family and friends.

Couldnt recommend this property enough! We had a lovely family holiday all together and this place just made it! The property itself is stunning with amazing views and no neighbours watching over. However the facilities just made it even better. You can really see how every detail has been thought of and theres plenty of space even if you want someRead more alone chill time when staying as a group. This was a perfect little haven, away from everyone and everything (except sheep). However dont fear, civilisation (should you want it) isnt too far away! Would definitely recommend The Raven Inn, Welshpool or The Waggon and Horses, Newtown for the best food! We will definitely be looking to come back! In fact, Im already planning another visit! Hide

Everything was perfect, it really is a beautiful house and the surroundings were amazing, my favourite part was all the sheep and lambs everywhere. Would definitely recommend.

The cottage was perfect, everything we needed, stunning scenery, very private. The kids( in their 20's) loved the tabletennis and the corn hole game, kept them entertained for hours and was such a laugh. I would definitely recommend. We had such a fantastic holiday

Arrived Monday evening, awoke Tuesday morning in a Welsh winter wonderland, we felt truly blessed. Cannot fault the cottage, homely, very comfortable, warm and a great size. Great view's from any of the many windows and if you want to stare at something else, the t.v. room down stairs is a really nice space. We can honestly say Bryndewyn is well worth a visit, you won't regret it. Would recommend stocking up on essentials before you arrive as the nearest supermarket is 30 minutes away. Hide
