Lovely property with everything you could need and all equipment, furnishings, towels and bedding of excellent quality. Everywhere and everything was spotless. Shout out for the owner Ray who checked in with us to make sure everything was ok for us and replied to any texts straight away. Would highly recommend this property

Clean and comfortable modern house which was festively decorated for our new years break. A fifteen minute walk into central Whitby we enjoyed the benefits of the out of town location with easy parking and options for cliff top walks to Whitby or dropping on to the beach to walk to sandsend. A short walk to the White House inn also proved to be an Read moreunexpected bonus , a welcoming pub with good food in the restaurant. We enjoyed our stay at Hudson House very much. Hide

The cottage was perfect for our needs. Plenty of space for four people and one dog. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook a full Christmas dinner. Its situated in a quiet area but is still close enough to walk to the seafront and the town centre. Parking for two cars was very convenient. The cottage was extremely clean. A great stay!

Was pleasantly surprised on arrival to find that not only did the photos match the property, but by how immaculately clean it was (including the oven and microwave). This is our second visit to Hudson House. It is very clean and has all the equipment we require and being able to park two cars is a real bonus for Whitby. The enclosed garden is great for our dog and the location excellent for access to the West Cliff. We certainly intend to visit again.

Modern unassuming property in a quiet location yet close to town centre. Exceptionally well equipped and thought out, for small family or two couples. Beds firm but comfortable. Welcoming text message from owner on our arrival, followed by personal visit from them to put the bins out for collection just before our departure. Oodles of leaflets for Read moreplaces to visit, as you would expect, plus parking discs for use in zoned areas of town. Early departure time not a problem as there are several places offering breakfast from 9:30. Highly recommend Sanders Yard bistro. Borrowed parking discs while out for breakfast, then made short detour to return them through letter box before leaving for home. Restful and relaxing long weekend, despite winds and showers. Hide

Hudson House was a great place to stay, very comfortable with excellent facilities. It was lovely to have those extra touches waiting for us on arrival. Flowers, bottle of wine, biscuits, tea and milk. We will definitely be back.

Excellent property, modern, well equipped and very clean. A good 15 minute walk to the main part of Whitby, but there is a Lidl supermarket much nearer. Its in a nice quiet area with good off street parking for one car. The owner is very engaged and popped round on the second day to check all was okay. Happy to recommend.
