It’s also home to Langham Dome where you can journey back in time to the RAF days of World War II. Langham is an ideal base from which to explore. The saltmarshes at the neighbouring village of Morston are teeming with wildlife, birds and stunning coastal walks. Take a trip from Morston Quay to the seal colonies basking on Blakeney Point, or in the winter months to see the new-born pups. Discover the beautiful sandy beach at Holkham or the Blakeney National Nature Reserve with its huge horizons and pristine marshes. Visit the lovely coastal villages of Cley-next-the-Sea and Wells-next-the-Sea with a range of independent shops and galleries. Just inland lies the Georgian market town of Holt with its antique shops, galleries, boutiques and tea rooms, or take the steam train on a trip to Sheringham.
