A lovely cottage at a stunning and beautiful location right in the Yorkshire Dales Nat. Park. Nice and peaceful. We had a wonderful stay. The only thing that was uncomfortable was the bed, but the rest was perfect.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the cottage, perfectly located for hiking from the cottage door. We hiked up Whernside and did the waterfalls walk too. Equipped with everything you need!

An absolute gem of a cottage and superb location. Everthing you could possible need was in the cottage. It was such a delight to come home to after a day of walking the Dales. The owner's have thought of everything including managing the heating so that it was always cosy and welcoming. Could not speak more highly of this property.

The cottage is fine, has lovely views and is well located for exploring the area. If you are a feint-hearted driver be aware that there is a single width road, with passing places, on the approach to the farm where the cottage is located; it's not really a problem and is typical of many of the roads in the area.

We loved the cottage and probably one of the best we have stayed in. It was really peaceful and well equipped. The location is superb for the most interesting and beautiful walks. The mist added to the charm. We even experienced a cloud inversion!

Scar End cottage is a great place to stay in the Yorkshire Dales. The cottage is comfortable and it has everything you need for a holiday. The location is excellent; it is right out in the countryside at the end of a farm track but you are still only 2km from Ingleton which has pubs and a shop. Also you can walk direct to Ingleborough and TwistletoRead moren Scars so on some days we didn't need to use our car at all. And other attractions, such as White Scar cave, are just a short drive away. There is just so much to do and see around Twistleton. Hide
