Really enjoyed the stay at Peddars Rest. Very spacious for the two of us, light and airy. Everything we needed and handy for the places we wanted to visit.

Very nice cottage in a great location for north Norfolk beaches and walks along the Peddars way. Good facilities at the cottage and plenty of space for large groups. Very nice enclosed and private garden ideal for dogs. Owner was very helpful resolving a minor issue with the wifi on arrival.

A great cottage in a great location, fabulous outside space too. Could have been cleaner and needs a bit of TLC but well worth a visit

The cottage was in a great location and the accommodation was lovely . Nice enclosed garden, but some garden furniture could do with being replaced. We had a few issues with cleanliness of kitchen equipment, but the owner was quick to respond to any messages.

We booked a short break with our two dogs at Peddars Rest to make use of the Peddars Way and couldnt have been happier with the location and property. Beautiful part of the world, the Peddars Way literally passes by the front door, the house was a great size and well maintained. The garden was excellent for the dogs and us to rest in. Will definiRead moretely be back. Only a 10-25 minute drive to many of north west Norfolks towns and coastal walks so also serves as a great base for holidaying families. Hide

The cottage was dirty and looked like it hadnt been cleaned properly for some time. There were LOTS of cobwebs and some dirty dishes in the cupboards. There is also mould in the second double bedroom, and both bathrooms (particularly around the en suite shower and ceiling). This is the third time we have been to this particular property and regretfRead moreully I dont think we will return again. The price for the same week in June has almost doubled since our first visit in 2019. At the lower price the standard of cleanliness and the lack of a 21st century shower in the main bathroom were overlooked. To justify the price the owner needs to fix the damp problem and upgrade the bathrooms. We didnt mind sharing the en suite but this isnt practical for some guests. New duvets and mattresses wouldnt go amiss either (if you ask guests to strip the beds before they leave at least make sure whats seen underneath isnt too disgusting). Hide

We had a very comfortable stay at Peddars Rest. There were 3 generations and we all enjoyed it. The only slight problem we had was that there were no appliance manuals and we had a problem with the dishwasher. We even downloaded the manual ourselves but couldn't operate it. We think it may have a problem. We unloaded it and handwashed all week. OthRead moreer than that everything was fine. Hide
