Tucked away in a quiet alley off West Looe Hill and just a short walk down to the quayside, you’ll find the delightful, refurbished Auntie Katie’s Cottage. Found on the western side of Looe, it is set away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre but close enough to walk across the bridge to reach the main throng of shops, restaurants, galleries and cafes. Even better take the short ferry ride across the river and view lovely Looe from a different perspective.

Furnished in a modern style yet retaining some of the original character, Auntie Katie’s Cottage has a spacious living room with a cosy wood-burning stove, exposed beams and two seating areas. Wooden flooring and colourful rugs ensure both practicality and comfort. The kitchen/dining room is well-equipped for your stay and the two first-floor bedrooms are perfect for a small family or friends visiting together.

GROUND FLOOR:
Kitchen/Dining Room: Range cooker with gas hobs and electric ovens, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and sound system.
Living room: Smart TV, Freeview and woodburner.
Cloakroom: WC and handbasin.

FIRST FLOOR:
Bedroom 1: King size bed (5’), bedside units, chest of drawers, wardrobe on landing
Bedroom 2: Twin beds (3’), bedside units, chest of drawers, wardrobe on landing
Bathroom: Separate shower cubicle, bath, basin, w.c.

GARDEN & PARKING: Enclosed garden with outdoor furniture. The cottage is set back from the road, so no parking directly outside, however you may quickly unload on the kerbside. There is some parking on the quayside. A larger, long term car park is the Millpool car park a pleasant walk by the river about 10 minutes away.

Power and Heat: Electricity and gas included in rent; gas central heating, woodburner in living area (logs not supplied but can be bought at local store).
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen provided and towels provided. Please bring your own beach towels.
Shop: 0.1 miles Pub: 0.1 miles

NOTES: No smoking; sorry, no pets; WiFi provided. Please monitor children when using the outside steps and patio. Mobile reception varies

This cottage is perfect in every way, please don't change a thing !! We absolutely loved the mix of old and new and cannot wait to return.

Well equipped cottage, including a Hairdyer, ironing facilities, washing up liquid, hand soap and all you could possibly need for cooking equipment in a self catering cottage. We had a lovely week spent at Auntie Katies Cottage. Very cosy and clean. It was lovely having a log burner on those chilly evenings. We had a few evening meals in East LRead moreooe, only a 10-15 minute walk, would definitely recommend Ju Ju's! The Jolly Sailor, only a few minutes walk away had a great atmosphere. Easy access from the cottage to the coastal path, and a great walk through Kilminorth woods. Enjoyed spotting a great variety of birds. We traveled by train, (so parking not an issue) the cottage being only a 15 minute walk away from the station. Thank you, we had a great stay at Auntie Katies Cottage, and hope to be back one day! Hello. Your place is generally nice, well located only the parking is a bit of pain, but obviously this is not your fault. Looe is very nice & extremely quiet (winter) nice shops & good food around we really love it In our opinion worth the money, especially if you will take a action & improve some bits which has been mentioned. Thank you.

A very well equipped spacious cottage in a lovely location for enjoying Looe. Lovely to have some outside space with views down towards the harbour.
