This newly converted Linhay is located on the owners own working farm and offers stunning views across rolling countryside and nearby Golf Course. The property is all on one level with parking directly outside the front door so would suit holidaymakers of all ages and abilities. The open-plan design with large floor to ceiling windows allows you to enjoy the views whether you are watching tele on the comfy sofas or cooking dinner in the well equipped kitchen area. Two bedrooms, one king and one twin and a modern bathroom complete the set up which has been loving restored with large oak beams and under floor heating throughout. A 10 minute drive will bring you to the market town of Barnstaple, which offers a good selection of amenities including shops, restaurants, pannier market, museum, library and leisure center. If your coming for an active holiday, the Tarka Trail offers a scenic 32 miles of traffic free walking or cycling, it follows the route of the old Southern railway track and takes in some beautiful coastal and countryside scenery. Local attractions including The Milky Way, Big Sheep, Exmoor Zoo, and Combe Martin Wildlife park are all within an hours drive, in summary The Cart Linhay is an ideal spot to enjoy all the North Devon has to offer.

We had an amazing family holiday at The Cart Linhay. The cottage had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. Sophie was a very welcoming and friendly host. It was a great base to explore the surrounding countryside and beautiful sandy beaches in the sunshine. We will definitely be back!

The Cart Linhay is jewel, a piece of heaven on earth. Comfy, light, airy, spacious with a wonderful view. All the major attractions, shops and eateries are easily accessible. Highly recommend.

We can only describe this place as a little gem. It is spotless, well equipped with everything you need and the welcoming gifts are very thoughtful - and delicious! We went for a peaceful, relaxing holiday and that's exactly what we enjoyed.

The cottage is fabulous and in such a great location at the brow of a hill overlooking the valley. So much to see just sitting either indoors or on the patio. Cart Linhay is a beautiful, modern property with amazing views across the countryside. It is very comfortable and well equipped. You definitely need a car to stay here but Barnstaple is only a ten minute drive away and from there the west and north Devon coasts are easily accessible.

A beautiful cottage, well equipped, supremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. The view is spectacular and the location is ideal for everything North Devon has to offer - beaches, moors and attractions are all easily accessed.

We really enjoyed our short stay. The property is very clean, well maintained, comfortable and has amazing views. Felt very homely and warm when we arrived back each evening. Stunning cottage, lovely welcome pack of usuals plus milk, hot chocolate, scones, jam and clotted cream, exceptional. Everything you need, and amazing view. The Cart Linhay is as beautiful as it looks on the photographs; well presented, super clean and has everything you need for a holiday. The weather was freezing while we stayed but the cottage was really warm and cosy due to the underfloor heating. Location wise it was pretty perfect as just minutes from Barnstaple which has plenty of shops and restRead moreaurants, and also easy to explore other parts of Devon and beyond. The cottage itself is in a quiet location and we saw the most beautiful skies at sunrise and sunset from the huge picture windows. We loved our stay and would highly recommend. Hide

We had such a fantastic week at the Cart Linhay. The barn is beautiful. Immaculately clean, cosy and comfortable with the most stunning views. Everything has been thought about so well and the welcome treats were such a lovely surprise. It's in the perfect location to explore North Devon. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't on our side the week we stRead moreayed, however, there was so much to do right on our doorstep, it didn't stop us at all.
