Ballard Vista is a bright and airy one bedroom flat with a lounge, kitchen diner with large bay windows. You can relax enjoying spectacular views of the sea, the Isle of Wight, the Downs or can follow trains as they come and go and the engine as it puffs up the valley.

Situated in a quiet conservation area, the town, sandy beach, station and local shops are all within a few minutes, mostly level walk. The Victorian building was newly renovated in 2018.

The property consists of an open plan kitchen/dining and living area plus a separate bedroom with modern en-suite shower room. There is no parking allocated to the property however it is easy to park in the side streets nearby. Once you arrive you can easily reach many local attractions on foot or by train. The stairs to the apartment are quite steep so please take this into consideration if you have mobility concerns.

We found the apartment to be well equipped . An enjoyable stay apart from the stairs but worth it because of the views !

Nice apartment, lovely views over the Purbeck Hills. Town and beach approx an 8 minute walk for a couple in our 60's. Good local pub - The Black Swan serving great food.

first visit. first impression was the staircase, not for the frail. however the view is excellenth being so high . one of the best parts was, during the evening you got a close up view of swallows darting around. they came to within a couple of feet from the window. an excellent reason to return which we will try to do.

The property was as described on the website. Very convenient location. Well equipped for our needs, good shower and very comfortable bed. The only down side was that we had to drive around the one way system before we were lucky to find a parking spot directly opposite the property. Once in we did not need to use our car at all because the bus Read moreservice was so good. Hide

The directions and information we received were spot on and once we parked our car near the property we did'ntv move it again until we left. We found nthe bus station and use the "Breezers" for all our travel. The apartment was very clean and well equiped and we had a smashing break (the baking weather helped)

Really enjoyed our break. Everything was clean and tidy. Excellent views easy to get everywhere. The tip about the parking was really helpful.

The flat was very clean and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. I would have rated comfort as 5 but the settee in the lounge was quite difficult to relax on - the cushions had to be carefully positioned.

Parking was a massive issue and stairs to property were way too steep and not mentioned in advert. Also certainly did not like the list of things we were expected to before leaving the property including stripping the beds which we thought was ludicrous.
