It is an ideal location for exploring the diverse coastline, from the popular resorts of Sheringham and Cromer to the picturesque villages of Cley-next-the-Sea and Blakeney, all of which are within a few miles and can be accessed via the ever-popular Coast Hopper bus service if you don’t want to take the car. The nearby glorious sandy beaches at Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham are wide, spacious and backed by pine woods and don’t miss a visit to Holkham Hall and deer park, home to the Earl of Leicester. The area is a year-round haven for ornithologists, walkers and nature lovers, with many bird reserves, good fishing and excellent walks close by.
