Fishermen still pull their colourful boats up on the shingle beach and sell fresh fish from the picturesque huts. The wide, mainly Georgian high street has many attractive buildings whilst the seafront properties all have commanding views of the beach and the North Sea. Boating is popular on the nearby Alde estuary where a large variety of yachts can be seen at summer weekends.

Wonderful mini break at High Tide. Had everything needed for two for a few nights. Clean, comfortable and well equipped. The morning sunshine on the wooden balcony was very welcoming with a cuppa in hand! Aldeburgh didnt disappoint, lots of walks, places to eat and some gorgeous little shops. The small apartment had a light, airy feel to it, having a balcony to sit outside extended the feeling of space. Arriving after 4pm on a February evening the outside light had thoughtfully been put on as well as the heating so it was very warm and welcoming. An extremely clean, comfortable accommodation in an ideal position. Very quiet but within a 5 minute walk of the town and beach. Will definitely return for another stay. Private parking space invaluable.

Tired, shabby and musty. Accessed by unsafe rickety staircase. Very cluttered with accumulated crockery, utensils and kitchen equipment, badly needs declutterring. Bathroom needs refurbing, with proper shower cubicle. Bed needs new mattress. Kitchen units reasonable. Allocated parking space a bonus.

Every thing you need including a dishwasher. Lots of plates and cutlery. Parking is off-road but for a small car, as stated in the description. Minutes from the Main Street, chip shop and sea front.

More comfortable sofa and chair in living room. Balcony needs attention. No window in bedroom and no fan provided, extremely hot room at night. Glasses and plates in cupboard had a film of dust on them. Stay affected by building work next door. The cottage was perfectly placed for exploring Aldeburgh and its surroundings. We are birdwatchers and found lots of places to go. The cottage was perfect for coming back to and it was great to relax on the terrace.

We only stayed for two nights and ate out, so we didn't use the cooking facilities, but they were plenty of utensils, crockery and cutlery. The property is within a short walk of the town and has it's own parking space.
