This stylish two bedroom property is part of a converted Methodist chapel located in the pretty hamlet of Rinsey, approximately one mile from the gorgeous sandy beach of Praa Sands and a five minute drive to the popular harbour town of Porthleven. No. 2 the Chapel was a former Methodist chapel, but now provides cosy and characterful accommodation with stunning countryside views.

The property is located in an idyllic countryside setting with a private sunny patio and garden and a short walk down to the picturesque beach at Rinsey Cove. Follow the South West coastal path West for 20 minutes and you will reach the golden sands of Praa Sands, a family friendly beach which is great for surfing. Less than 10 minutes by car is the historic site of St Michaels Mount; a small tidal island on Mount’s Bay with an imposing castle, accessed by a granite pebbled causeway at low tide.

This property can be booked alongside 1 The Chapel to sleep six guests in total.

FIRST FLOOR:
Bedroom 1: Kingsize bed (5’), bedside tables, built-in wardrobe.
Bedroom 2: Twin beds (3’), chairs.
Bathroom: Bath with electric shower over, basin, wc.

GARDEN & PARKING: Large patio with garden furniture; a further gated garden called 'The Thicket'. Private parking available.

Power and Heat: Electricity and heating included in the rent. Central heating throughout and woodburner in living room.
Baby Equipment: Travel cot, highchair, stair gate and fire guard provided on request at time of booking.  Please bring your own cot bedding.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided.  Please bring your own beach towels.
Shop: 2 ml. Pub: 1 ml.

NOTES: No smoking. No pets. WiFi provided. Please specify at the time of booking whether the travel cot, highchair, stair gate and fire guard are required.

Chapel 2 was very comfortable and had a very pleasant tranquil atmosphere. The owners had made generous provision of all one could want plus gifts of coffee, tea, fairings, cream, milk, and a vase of daffodils. Rinsey is a peaceful hamlet and we liked being able to walk in five minutes to the coastal path. Further down is the muscular sea and, for Read morethe intrepid, a sandy cove. Good paths to Praa Sands and, the other way, to Porthleven. The house is a useful centre too for visits to gardens, ancient sites and churches, and local towns. We have very much enjoyed staying at Chapel 2 (twice). Hide

The Cottage is situated in a very peaceful place We found the garden to be just so tranquil watching and listening to the birds The Cottage was extremely clean and everything you need and more very home from home It has a lovely feel about it We both enjoyed visiting many places Godolphin House / Gardens Trewidden Gardens and Botallack are Read morejust some of the places we enjoyed and the weather was very kind to us , we had one stormy Sunday which we didnt mind so we got to stay in and enjoy the peace and comfort the Cottage had to offer We both had a wonderful Holiday Hide

A lovely quiet retreat close to the coastal path with plenty of walks and interesting places to visit on foot. The cottage is comfortable and well equipped.

For us 2 The Chapel was ideal. It was peaceful and comfortable, also very well supplied with everything we needed. It was rewarding to be able to walk to the Coastal Path so easily and enjoy the sea and the scenery. Other places of interest were easily reached by car. 2 The Chapel was extremely comfortable for the 2 of us. The log burner was a treat, although we hardly used it as the weather was unseasonably warm. Sitting in the outside garden area was lovely, overlooking the fields and countryside. An added bonus was the very short walk to the South West coastal path.

Good, peaceful location just a few minutes from spectacular cliff top walks. The Chapel has been thoughtfully and beautifully converted and is spacious and comfortable with great outdoor areas. Furnished with every appliance you could need for a lovely and relaxing holiday.
