Wonderful house and perfect for big families. The house itself is well equipped, clean, and well looked after. The facilities are excellent - the showers were lovely, and the beds were so comfortable!! The pictures don't do justice for just how big the garden is, and the view was spectacular - we were delighted that there were metal railings at theRead more cliff edge for extra comfort that younger guests could play in the garden without fear of them getting too close to the edge. The location is also excellent, although we did find that driving through the lanes in Mevagissy was a bit of a nightmare at peak times, so we would recommend going the slightly longer route towards Gorran if you don't fancy the lanes! Communication was excellent before and after - we'd definitely like to come again!! Hide

Very comfortable stay with spectacular views. Suited all generations and downstairs bedroom and bathroom was ideal for my 87 year old mother with mobility issues. Area was ideal lots to do and plenty of walks. Very lucky with the weather during our stay. Kitchen well equipped and beds comfy. Would love to return, was worth the long drive.

This property is superbly situated with outstanding views eastwards across the bay. There were sightings of large groups of dolphins on two mornings. The property is very comfortable and well-maintained and ideally laid out for parents, children and grand-parents. The kitchen equipment all worked well with modern equipment installed. The property iRead mores well-situated to visit a number of attractions and with a number of excellent beaches not too far away. Beware the local beach can have large amounts of green seaweed in the water and on the sand. The downside: It is approached along typical very narrow Cornish roads. Do not attempt to go through Mevagissey, use the signposted alternative route and the journey is much easier. Hide

Fantastic location with superb views out to sea, Portmellon, Mevagissey and Fowey. Spacious house with all you need for your holiday. Although it was not mentioned the garden is now fully enclosed with fencing which was fantastic for our dog and small children as the property goes to the sea edge. The garden is massive so if you are taking dogs Read morethey will love it. Original cottages did not know much about the property when asked about certain details but we found that they even had a stair gate at the house to stop any dogs going upstairs or children for that matter. The view is to die for and can be seen from all rooms with two really nice patio areas. Portmellon is nice and quiet with only a pub and coffee shop but that is not much of a problem as only a short walk to Mevagissey. Will defiantly return to this property as we all had a great week stay here. Hide
