Nigel House is a spacious house with two large bedrooms and the third converted to a snug with a comfy chair and sea view. It offers all the comforts of modern living but has the character of a quintessential Cornish cottage. Log burner, granite walls, village setting, sea views and is situated in a fabulous location being just moments from the harbour, beaches, village centre and fabulous eating places. Tastefully decorated with pale blue/greys and furnished with great thought given by the owners to ensure a comfortable stay is had by all. Quality bedding, bed linen and towels are provided along with a welcome tray.

A large ‘foodies’ kitchen/diner with oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, espresso machine. Comfortable lounge with log burner and a flat-screen TV. Upstairs is the master bedroom to the front with double bed and sea views. At the rear is a double bedroom with en-suite shower room. Nigel House is centrally heated and less than a minutes walk to the beach, harbour and one of the best restaurants around, The Old Coastguard, you can’t get much better than that!

Outside there is a patio to the front of the cottage enjoying sea views over Mounts Bay and St Michael's Mount. Rattan settee, table and four chairs along with an array of potted palms and exotics make this a lovely area to sit and watch the world go by. There is also a storage space suitable for storing outdoor equipment such as wet suits or buckets and spades.

To the side of the cottage is the very rare find in Mousehole of a parking space for one car (just over 9.5 ft wide)! There is also unrestricted, free roadside parking on the main road leading in to Mousehole just a couple of minutes walk from the cottage and the bus stop is less than 2 minutes walk.

Mousehole, renowned for its history in the Art world, is a beautiful ancient fishing village steeped in character and charm that has mainly remained unspoilt for centuries, with its narrow streets and cobbled lanes surrounding the picturesque harbour, it offers two small sandy beaches and a larger pebbled beach with rock pools just waiting to be explored! Enjoy the serene harbour at sunset as the small fleet of fishing boats return home Particularly magical at Christmas with its famous Christmas lights, it attracts visitors from miles around to enjoy the spectacular display and soak up the atmosphere The village hosts numerous art galleries, potteries, excellent ‘foody’ restaurants (The Old Coastguards, 2 Fore Street to name just a couple) pubs and a village shop and post office.

Nigel Cottage is an absolute gem. Fabulous accommodation with all amenities you could need. The bonus off off road parking makes it stand out from the rest. Would also give a special mention of The Coastguard opposite, lovely place. Also fabulous meal at No2 Fore Street on the harbour.
