Suffolk Cottage has been lovingly renovated to the highest standards with converted loft-room that provides sweeping views across all of Mounts Bay from Mullion Cove past Mousehole and on to Porthcurno and Gwenap Head. The perfect spot for watching powerful Atlantic storms, the graceful dolphins that often pass by or if you are lucky enough to catch them the occasional whale!

The cottage boasts two beautiful lounges; downstairs has a new wood burning stove and comfy seating to snuggle up with a good book or DVD whilst the loft-room, complete with a 65" Ultra HD Smart TV and Bluetooth soundbar gives the home cinema viewing experience!

The first floor provides one superking bedroom with more views across the bay and one twin bedroom. It also has a family bathroom, complete with roll top bath and a lovely drench shower, it also has an additional separate cloakroom.

The spacious ground floor, with it’s original Victorian flooring,  has a large, open plan lounge and dining area with a modern slate floored kitchen at the rear leading onto the patio area - the perfect place to enjoy the evening and dine alfresco.

Ideally located, Suffolk Cottages is a short stroll from the beach, harbour and all that Porthleven has to offer. With it’s own parking space it is the perfect base for exploring Mounts Bay and further afield to enjoy day trips to Lands End, St Michaels Mount and the Cornish Seal Sanctuary whilst returning home to your parking space and very own luxury cottage.

GROUND FLOOR:
Lounge/Dining Room: Wood burning stove (starter pack of logs supplied October to March), 43” Ultra HD Smart TV with freesat, DVD player, Bluetooth docking system, comfortable seating and dining table with chairs.
Kitchen: Fully integrated kitchen with Electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, under counter fridge and freezer, Nespresso coffee machine.

FIRST FLOOR:
Bedroom 1: Super king-size bed (6’), bedside tables, chests of drawers, wardrobe, TV with Firestick, window seats and far reaching sea views.
Bedroom 2: Twin beds (3’), bedside tables,, built in wardrobe
Bathroom: Roll top slipper bath, large drench shower, heated towel rail,  basin, WC.
Cloakroom: Basin, WC.

SECOND FLOOR:
Loft room/Cinema  room: Comfy seating, music system,  65" Ultra HD Smart TV with Bluetooth soundbar,  spotting scope and sweeping panoramic sea views.

GARDEN AND PARKING:
Enclosed patio with table and chairs. Private parking space for 1 car.
Pets Welcome: Up to 2 dogs are welcome. £25 per week per pet
Power and Heat: Electricity and heating included in the rent. Central heating throughout.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided, please bring your own beach towels.

Baby Equipment: Travel cot,  high chair and stair gates at the property, please request if needed and bring your own cot bedding.

Coast: 0.1 ml. Shop: 0.3 ml. Pub: 0.1 ml.

Extremely clean and very well equipped. Good location , within east reach of beach and all facilities. Would definitely rent this cottage again.

We had such a lovely stay at this beautiful cottage. The location was absolutely perfect ideal for exploring the area and enjoying the surroundings. The cottage itself had everything you could possibly need, making it feel like a real home from home. The welcome pack was a really thoughtful touch and much appreciated after our journey. The wholRead moree place was very comfortable, cosy, and well looked after. We especially loved the loft area such a unique space and the sea views were just stunning. This is a superb property. Brilliantly located, really cosy and well equipped. The parking space is a real bonus. 1 minute from the Atlantic Inn (!), 2 minutes from the beach and just a couple of minutes more to other pubs, restaurants and shops. This is a superb property. Recommended.

First time at Suffolk cottage and it was delightful. Situated ideally for beach and harbour with the bonus of your own parking space. Loved the art work and decor. Very comfortable and relaxing just a lovely space. Third floor snug was great to sit in and listen to the crashing waves. What a vista to look at first thing in the morning too. I would Read moreonly say that if you have mobility problems there are 2 staircases and the odd stair up and down between bathroom and bedrooms. However the stairs between bedroom and third floor have been done very well and found manageable with support either side. Would definitely book again. Hide

The cottage was very clean and better equipped than others I have stayed in ( including dog bowls and a crate which many dog friendly places dont have.) The view from the top lounge is lovely and the rooms are spacious. I would recommend it.

A lovely cottage with sea views and close to Porthleven Harbour. The cottage was immaculately clean and very comfortable with a great loft space with sea views. The added benefit of a parking space too.

Fantastic cottage. Extremely well equipped. Ideally located for walking to any of the cafes and restaurants around the harbour and easy access to the south west coastal path. I would highly recommend.

We loved our stay in Suffolk Cottage in Porthleven and would recommend anyone to stay there. Lots ofRead more eateries to enjoy. Porthleven has a spectacular ocean beach which stretches on for miles. (Stones at first - then sand) * There is SO much to see and do near Porthleven. We visited - Lizard Point, Minack Theatre, Mousehole, St Michaels Mount, Fowey, Looe, Mevagissey and finally our favourite place..Polperro. * Equipment - Suffolk Cottage has everything you need for a home to home stay. The kitchen is well equipped. * Comfort - Suffolk cottage is very comfortable and has fabulous beds and sofas to enjoy and a strong, powerful, large shower. The location is great, walkable to the harbour, shops, pubs and restaurants and beach and the coast path. (Highly recommend Kota Kai for lunch -you can take your dogs- we loved it so much we went twice). In-fact you could very happily spend a couple of weeks here and not need to go anywhere else. Christmas week with our 19 month old. Wonderful break in a fantastic cottage. For a winter break this cottage was just ideal for us. We made great use of the wood burning stove. The kitchen was well stocked, with a good range of invent. We were very happy with the level of cleaning and maintenance of the cottage.

It's a beautiful, comfy cottage in a superb location. Really couldn't fault it. It's cosy , with all the amenities needed and the loft room with the 72" TV was an added bonus. We had the best time.

This is the second time we have spent a lovely week at Suffolk Cottage, loved it the first time so came back for more. Porthleven is our favourite part of Cornwall, never fails to deliver whatever the weather. The loft at Suffolk Cottage is a superb space, just watching the weather roll in and out. Love it.

Suffolk cottage was well positioned overlooking the sea, on the beach side of harbour. Lovely loft sitting room with sea view. Easy walk to beach, harbour and Porthlevens cafes and pubs. Well equipped with thoughtful touches. Would love to return
