Smuggler's Cottage is a delightful cottage that's full of character, perfectly situated right above the beach and just around the corner from the harbour, pubs and restaurants that Porthleven has to offer.

The cottage has recently been refurbished, with the thoughtful addition of a woodburner downstairs creating a super cosy lounge for two. The upstairs bedroom also has an en-suite shower room and window looking out onto the balcony. Steps lead down to a compact yet well-equipped kitchen, with the property offering guests the choice of dining either indoors or alfresco: the balcony and outdoor patio set can be accessed from here via a short wooden staircase, perfect for admiring those stunning sea views at the end of a long day.

With the sound of the waves breaking on the beach below and the harbour, restaurants and pubs a short stroll away, this really is an excellent bolthole for two.

GROUND FLOOR:
Lounge: TV with Freeview and Netflix, DVD player, Woodburner.
Kitchen/Diner: Built-in oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washer/dryer.
Shower Room: Shower, basin, wc.

FIRST FLOOR:
Bedroom 1: Double bed (4'6"), bedside drawers, chest of drawers, wardrobe. En-Suite: Shower, basin, wc.

GARDEN AND PARKING:
Balcony accessed via short wooden staircase from kitchen area with table and chairs. No private parking but public parking available. See Parking Information for Porthleven.

Changeover Day: Friday - arrival 4:00pm - departure 10:00am.
Pets Welcome: Maximum 1 dog, £25 per week per pet
Power and Heat: Electricity included in the rent. Electric storage heating.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided, please bring your own beach towels.
Baby Equipment: Not provided, please bring your own. 
Beach: 0.1 ml. Pub: 0.1 ml.

A delightful quirky cottage cosy met all our needs. A good location for beach, cliff path, harbour and town. Excellent restaurants and good pubs.

A quirky, comfortable and cosy cottage with accommodation arranged on three levels, plus a sun deck accessed through a large dorma window. Can see the sea from the front door all of two minutes walk away. Porthleven is an interesting place lots of alleys and different levels to explore. Super cliff path walks. Lovely restaurants.

What a lovely cottage bed and bedding were so comfortable was lovely having a drink in the sun on balcony and would love to return and do same in winter months .evening stroll round harbour on your doorstep and lots of places to eat and drink..also well equipped supermarket was very handy. Will return again..

Cottage is idyllic and in a superb spot for all amenities in Porthleven . Sun deck is perfect for star gazing , sun bathing and watching the activities in the sea . Very cosy and quirky , has everything you need , spotlessly clean and dog friendly . The only slight criticism is the paintwork and iron work outside needs a little TLC and the door tRead moreo the sun deck is not suitable to anyone with mobility issues. We have stayed at this property 3 times now which says it all . Hide

The cottage was really lovely, in a great area, really cosy and it felt very homely to us. The terrace, although it only had a slight view of the sea, was lovely to sit at in the morning and was a real sun trap. The bedroom was cosy, and the kitchen was relatively well equipped. The showers were very small, but in such a small place it is the best Read moreavailable option. Unfortunately, despite general cleanliness, there were heaps of dog hairs around the whole cottage, especially in the bedroom. Although this was a slight annoyance to us, it would be far from ideal for somebody with an allergy. The cottage was very close to the harbour, with a maximum 5 minute walk to the furthest pub. Overall, we had a really lovely stay, and we would definitely return. Hide

Well equiped and comfortable, good location for the beach and the habour. Enjoyed breakfast and afternoon drinks on the sun deck with a sea view. Plenty of good walks nearby to enjoy.

This is a lovely snug comfortable cottage with easy access to the town. Car parking can be awkward especially if there are major events on in the town such as the Porthleven Food Festival which is well worth coming for. A lovely place to relax.

This is a beautifully thought out property, with everything you need for a perfect holiday! Beautiful views from the terrace, and a very easy short walk to the harbour, shops, parking and restaurants. We loved it and will be back!

Fantastic little cosy cottage for two, would love to stay here again but in winter when its stormy, just to watch the sea and experience it !
