In the middle of Porthleven's most famous Victorian terrace, situated above the harbour with spectacular views out to sea across the inner and outer harbour. 12 Bay View came to us following a complete back to bare walls renovation and what a job! Many of the original features have been preserved and there's even some hand made replicas of plaster mouldings to seamlessly blend new with old. Lovely new kitchen and spectacular bathroom with spacious walk in shower. Lounge and two of the bedrooms have one of the best views in town and feature custom built wooden furniture. Bespoke New England Style shutters complete the feeling of light and space and modernity in a historic location. Now one of our best sellers that's booked well in advance.

GROUND FLOOR:
Lounge/Diner: Sky TV including Sky/BT sports, bluetooth speaker, window seat with lovely views across the harbour.
Kitchen: Electric oven and induction hob, Nespresso coffee machine, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer.

FIRST FLOOR:
Bedroom 1: Kingsize bed (5'), bedside units, chest of drawers, sea and harbour views.
Bedroom 2: Twin beds (3'), bedside units, chest of drawers.
Bedroom 3: Single bed (3'), bedside unit, harbour views.
Bathroom: Spacious walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail, wc.

GARDEN & PARKING: Patio with garden furniture, sea and harbour views. On-street parking and public car parking facilities close by.

Changeover Day: Friday - arrival 4:00pm - departure 10:00am.
Pets Welcome: Maximum 2 dogs; £25 per pet per week.
Power and Heat: Electricity and heating included in the rent.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided, please bring your own beach towels.
Baby Equipment: Travel cot and highchair available, please bring your own cot bedding.

The most fantastically equipped holiday home, in a wonderful place, with the best views anyone could ask for. So many wonderful games, books, etc. My son said he preferred the bed to his own! A wonderful holiday, we were all very sad to leave.

We discovered 12 Bayview some years ago and have been returning regularly ever since. The location is stunning, perched above the harbour with a panoramic view of Porthleven, one of the jewels of South Cornwall. With a couple of excellent pubs, several good restaurants and locally owned shops, its a great place to unwind and relax. The house rates Read morehighly for comfort and amenities, including underfloor heating which ensures a cosy environment. We have fond memories of sitting out on the terrace, enjoying a pre-dinner glass of wine, entertained by the surfers and the activity in and around the harbour below. Hide

A fabulous house that is so bc well equipped with every amenity and the contents and accessories throughout this property are good quality.. nothing cheap and cheerful here. We love the house, it is wonderful, the view is stunning and we just love being there. It was very comfortable and warm (an improvement on last year when the heating was set at a lower temp). Loved this cottage. The view from the terrace was really lovely and out of the wind a bit. The cottage was very quaint, cozy and comfortable. Preferred this one to another that we stayed on around the corner on the seafront.

This was a return visit to 12 Bayview and if anything it was even better than before. The quality and attention to detail of the fixtures and fittings was especially impressive and the house was warm, and inviting after raw March days out in S W Cornwall. Perfectly located near to the pubs, restaurants and cafes, gift shops and stunning stretches of coastal paths, 12 Bay View offers a little piece of Cornwall in perfect package suitable for families, friends, walkers, swimmers, surfers and doggies! Once again, we had a fantastic stay at no 12. The weather was superb with glorious evening sunsets in November. The only downside is having to leave! The welcome pack is amazing with the addition of some dog treats this time, nice touch. Well be back.
