Originally a Victorian fisherman's cottage, The Nook has been transformed into a stylish bolt hole for two. Tastefully decorated and refurbished to a very high standard The Nook is a real home away from home.

The ground floor living room has comfy sofas, smart TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime and a woodburner. Stairs lead to the lower ground floor where there is a stunning open plan room with well-equipped kitchen area benefitting from high gloss units and quartz granite worktops, quality induction hob cooker, a dining table and comfy sitting area including another smart TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime. The feature ceiling lantern lets the light flood into this modern sociable space. There is a WC on this floor. French doors lead out to a neat enclosed courtyard with seating.

On the first floor the bedroom has a 5ft king-size bed and is decorated in the same tranquil and tasteful manner. There is also a beautifully appointed en-suite shower room.

The Nook is located in the heart of Porthleven, within easy walking distance of its superb choice of restaurants, pubs, galleries, the harbour and beach. Porthleven is ideal for exploring West Cornwall, and the town of Helston with its supermarkets and banks is just 2 miles away.

This is the 3rd time staying at The Nook and again we have had a lovely relaxing stay, everything is catered for! We will be back.

The cottage is fanstastic througout. Recently refurfished to a very high standard. There was nothing we were short of or needed. Spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfy we slept really well.Its only a few minutes walk to the town in a very quiet street. No problems parking we always found a space, Porthleven is a great base as its 30 minutes drivRead moree to most of the places you would want to visit. Lots of walks form the town. The Ship Harbour inn and the Mussel shoal are great places for a beer. Would stay is the same cottage in a hearbeat loved it. Hide

We had a lovely stay here with our two dogs. It is in a perfect location for a small walk down to the harbour with lots of nice places to eat and sit and relax. The cottage is cozy, modern and well equipped.

A fabulous cottage, extremely clean , cosy living room , nice spacious kitchen and really comfy bed. A couple of minutes walk to the harbour. Porthleven is a beautiful place with lots of lovely places to eat and drink. We had a fantastic time . The corner deli was one of our favourites, their pizzas are amazing. The harbour Inn was good too. ARead moremelies was a bit overpriced for what you get . Don't miss the brass band , they play opposite the harbour inn on Sunday evenings. They are really good. . We spent alot of time wandering around the Porthleven , it's so beautiful, stopping for coffee and ice creams . Look out for the local cat Reggie who always seems to be hanging out by the ice cream parlour . They even sell cards with his picture on . We had a wonderful stay , thank you Hide

This is the second time that we have visited The Nook and we will definitely come again. The cottage is extremely comfortable with all the equipment that we could need. It is also ideally located. It is only a few hundred metres from the harbour, but it is still very quiet

Great cottage in Porthleven. Close to the harbour. Super comfy bed and very spacious compared to others on Thomas Street. Nice big kitchen.

Me, my husband and our dog, Harvey, have stayed at The Nook twice and every time it has been a fantastic stay. I cannot find fault with this beautiful cottage and I cannot wait for our third visit. Would highly recommend staying at The Nook.
