Cliff Top Cottage is a New England styled cottage located on the popular Loe Bar road, just moments from Porthleven beach. This reverse-level property has been designed to make the most of the stunning sea views, with an open plan kitchen and living area that leads on to a private balcony overlooking the sea. For alfresco dining with a view there is the outside patio area with large picnic bench; perfect for having a barbecue during the summer. Parking is a luxury in this harbour town, but Cliff Top Cottage has the advantage of 2 single garages, which can also be used to store outdoor equipment such as wetsuits, surf boards and bicycles.

This was, I think the 6th time weve stayed at Cliff Top. We love it with its wonderful sea view and short walk down to the harbour. Porthleven is very special to us.

We enjoyed a very restful week at Cliff Top Cottage in late November. The sea view is great and the garages a big plus (big enough for our SUV, with care). We very much appreciated the heating system this time of year, warm and cosy. The recent addition of a smart tv meant that we could watch BBC iPlayer, Netflix, ITVX and Prime Video so that was aRead morenother plus. Location is great, most of Porthleven remained open. There are hourly bus services to Penzance (west) and Falmouth (east) and places en route. The web site photos give a very good appreciation of the property. It is small, fine for 2 people, okay for family of four, but would be cramped for 4 adults. Hide

A beautiful location within Porthleven with direct sea views & comes with not just a parking space, but a double garage. The property is well appointed & very comfortable, so with a cold drink on the evening you can watch the sunset from the balcony, or sit on the sofa & just watch the changing seascape or the world go by as you just unwind & chillRead more. Porthleven is a wonderful place for a base if you want to walk the coastal paths, chill out, have a Cornish ale or two, meet with friends or dine out, as there are plenty of places to eat, (The Twisted Currant, Cantina, Catch, The Harbour Inn, The Atlantic Inn) so many to choose from. We loved our stay & plan to return to Porthleven again real soon. Hide

Lovely, superbly clean accommodation in a super position. The garage was a real advantage as parking can be very difficult at times in Porthleven. The welcome tray was greatly appreciated after our marathon trek from the Scottish Borders. All in all a perfect spot for our stay in Cornwall.

Fabulous stay in this well equipped property. Views across to the sea are without question the best feature. We visited in February half term with 3 dry and occasionally sunny days for walking on the nearby coast path. We then had two days of stormy weather. Watching the sea change from the comfort of the property was amazing. It was warm when we nRead moreeeded it to be, and by opening the doors to the sound of the sea was a lovely way to start the day. We both agreed that we would revisit this property again in the future, which is unusual for us as regular visitors to Cornwall we tend to always stay somewhere different. Having a secure private car parking space was a bonus! All in all- highly recommended! Hide

A lovely cottage with a mesmeric view of the sea, and within very easy distance to village, shops, restaurants, beach and coastal path. Bedrooms are very snug. Being able to use the garage to hang wet suits and boards etc was extremely useful. We had a great time and so did our dog.
