We did manage to park on the road outside, but it was tricky with a large car. However, it was a covenient location for the centre of Mousehole, which is beautiful, and easy to get out to Newlyn and other locations.

Lovely welcome gift. Great location within a short walk of mousehole harbour and Paul village. Situated on a steep road but only five minute walk either way. The cottage was very well equipped and comfortable and the garden was a lovely space to sit out in and secure for our dog. The lane outside was quite busy and parking was hit and miss. The beach in Mousehole wasn't dog friendly at any time of the year. Unfortunately we wouldn't return due to the lack of parking and ban on the beach for dogs which iRead mores a shame as this is a lovely cottage. Hide

Obviously, car parking is something of a lottery and we had two cars, but we managed to cope. mostl;y by parking one car permanently outside the house and the other further up the hill...a good spot.

A wonderfully equipped cottage, a true retreat from busy life. Looked after and well decorated, it had everything we needed as a family with a toddler. We enjoyed our daily walks down to the picturesque Harbour for dinner and ice creams. If you're heading to Cornwall in high summer make sure to book restaurants and any attractions long in advance aRead mores many have limited spaces (We drove to The Minack Theatre but they were fully booked all week). Be aware that while the cottage has a reliable internet connection throughout, we had no phone signal at all. This was only an issue when certain apps or logins would try to send a text. We tried to buy tickets for a local attraction and our banking app wanted to verify our identity. The other aspect to be aware of is the parking, which isn't a fault of the cottage but simply the nature of Mousehole. Anyone visiting, please download and register the JustPark App before you go, save yourself some stress as it is used by nearly every car park in the area. In our visit we were unlucky with the street parking on a few days and on one particular evening a construction crew had coned off all of the spaces on the whole hill so they could get a big digger into the local school the next day. This meant we and many other cars were prowling around the narrow streets and surrounding area searching for anywhere to park. Hide

We felt very welcome, there was milk, and chocolates and the basics for cooking. The garden was secure for the dogs and there were lots of places to relax inside and out. A short walk down to the town and harbour.

Three Blind Mice was an excellent base for our far west holiday; warm, comfortable, quite spacious and probably the best equipped holiday cottage we have ever stayed in. The front courtyard was ideal for our dogs first thing and the location suited us well.
