Just back from a week at this property in St Merryn. We loved the location about a 7 minute drive into Padstow. St Merryn itself has everything you need in a small town if you dont want to venture to far. The Cornish arms is about an 8 minute walk away which is a Rick Stein pub and pizza place which is a must visit. Padstow Harbour is beautifulRead more offering many places to eat and shop or simply take in the fantastic views. The ferry over to Rock costs 3 per person and can be picked up in the harbour. This is where we played St Enedoc Golf Club(top 50 in the world currently) for those that enjoy your golf. From here there is Paul Ainsworths new Pizza eaterie and his famous Marrioners pub along the way. The beach at Rock is stunning and many memories made. Treyornun beach is a 6 minute drive from the property and Harlyn beach is also around 6 minutes with 5 to park all day which is very fair. Perrenporth is around 40 minutes away but definitely worth a look if you like rock pooling and cave searching. All wonderful beaches and wont be disappointed. The giant slip and slide is around 15 mins away by car and is a fun activity. Bring your wet suits to save some money if possible. There is a biggish Tescos a 9 minute drive away so easy for all your food needs and a farm shop a 5 minute drive away if you fancy a treat. But honestly there are so many places to eat you almost dont need dinner at any point. The house was beautiful and comfortable in a quiet area with its own parking space. Everything was catered for and lots of spares of everything if you ever needed it. Bathroom was gorgeous and the shower was fantastic. We loved our stay and would 100% come back for sure Hide
