The Croft sits on high ground looking out across Ilfracombe to the Atlantic. It is just a ten minute stroll to the town centre and harbour. This terraced property blends traditional features with modern luxuries to create a spacious home. An entrance hall with lots of coat hanging space has a parquet floor and leads into the roomy lounge with comfy seating around a gas fire. There is a separate dining room with a table for eight and a fully equipped galley kitchen with views out over town. Also on the ground floor is a snug with TV, toys and a door to garden. There are two more living rooms with accommodation laid out over three floors. Two double rooms on the first floor and two bedrooms on the top floor share two bathrooms on the first floor. All bedrooms also have attractive fireplaces. There is also a writing desk and chair on the second-floor landing. The garden has a patio area with garden furniture for al fresco dining. Ilfracombe has a delightful mix of Victorian and Regency architecture, pretty harbour, independent shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs. The harbour, with Damien Hirst’s infamous bronze statue Verity, and the Tunnels Beaches, are well worth a visit along with the award-winning Ilfracombe Aquarium, fascinating Ilfracombe Museum, Larkstone Leisure Park, Hele Cornmill and Chambercombe Manor - one of Britain's most haunted houses. A short drive takes you to Exmoor National Park, which has Europe’s very first International Dark Sky Reserve, the tallest tree in England, the highest cliffs in England, almost 250 species of bird and over 1,000 different flowering plants and grasses

Brilliant house and we had a great weekend. Loads of space, proper big rooms, and the sea views from the bay windows were the best part. Spotlessly clean, well equipped, and the welcome pack was a really nice touch. Easy walk into town and down to the beaches, with some lovely walks nearby. An amazing house within walking distance of the town and beaches. Fabulous big rooms with seating and views out to sea for morning coffee. I would definitely recommend and stay here again especially as Ilfracombe is such an amazing place.

The views from the property were fantastic, with a brilliant set up by the bay windows. There were multiple snugs with televisions allowing family members to disappear - invaluable. The host left us some delicious Christmas treats - a very thoughtful touch. Overall this was a fantastic escape and I am so grateful you let me bring my Reggie (dog). TRead morehank you! Hide

The house was spacious and comfortable but not suitable if you want to do very much cooking. It is ideal if you plan to eat out.

Lovely large immaculately clean house. Great position overlooking over the town with views of South Wales. Close to some lovely walks, dog friendly bays and beaches. The house was very well equipped and comfortable, and the welcome pack was greatly appreciated. We contacted Cris the housekeeper with a minor issue and she was very helpful.

A lovely spacious house with all the amenities needed for a stress free holiday. Great sea views. Location is great for all local attractions and situated near further attractions on a short drive. Car parking is hit or miss but didnt cause too many issues for us. Will totally recommend this accommodation.

Fantastic cottage, well presented and well equipped for a family visit. We enjoyed the location within walking distance of the harbour, and the lovely (if strenuous) headland. Although street parking was busy we always managed to find a spot close by. We also loved the welcome pack which was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend.
