Ocean Villa enjoys stunning sea views from a quiet location close to the heart of Woolacombe. The property has been designed upside down so the main reception areas enjoy the best of the views. The top floor is all one big open plan living area so there are no dark corners and you can see the views from the whole floor. The decor is contemporary and cutting edge with structural features creating dramatic shapes including sloping ceilings. One gable is filled with glass and provides access to a spacious private balcony where you can watch the spectacular sunsets with a chilled glass of wine. Downstairs the main bedroom has a super king-size bed, en-suite facilities and patio doors to a covered area, also enjoying sea views. This covered area also has a hot outdoor shower and storage for surfboards and bikes. Two more bedrooms and a pristine bathroom complete the ground floor accommodation. Woolacombe's three mile stretch of golden sand has been voted number one in the UK by TripAdvisor guests for the last two years. It also holds the England For Excellence Gold Award for best family resort and was voted the Best British Beach in the Mail On Sunday. Lifeguards ensure safe swimming during the summer. However, it’s not just the beach that brings visitors to Woolacombe. There's a wide selection of restaurants, teashops and bars to enjoy while the laid-back atmosphere makes it a firm favourite for people of all ages. Head east for Ilfracombe, which has a delightful mix of Victorian and Regency architecture, pretty harbour, independent shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs. The harbour, with Damien Hirst’s infamous bronze statue Verity, is well worth a visit
