Ivydene is a stunning four bedroom pet friendly property, perched on the hillside of East Looe. With sensational river views across Looe harbour, the property boasts spacious rooms that are perfect for entertaining a large family or group of friends. Each room has been styled to offer sophisticated yet comfortable living, with high quality furniture and a sleek modern finish. Some beautiful Victorian features have been retained, such as the feature fireplace, large entrance hall with grand staircase and deep skirting boards. Upstairs there are two large king size bedrooms, one with shower en suite, as well as a bunk room, a twin room and family bathroom.

Looe is a picturesque harbour village located in South East Cornwall. The cobbled streets, local shops and abundance of restaurants and pubs make it a very popular town for visitors in Cornwall, many of whom return year on year. The family friendly sandy beach is a great place to spend your afternoon, with many attractions such as the Eden Project within half an hour drive.

The property is accessed by a flight of stone steps up to the terrace

We had a brilliant time at this beautiful, spacious property! We loved sitting on the deck soaking up the sun and enjoying the stunning view. Our car (Renault Modus) luckily just fit up the steep and narrow lane and into the parking space. The town centre is a short (but very steep!) walk away with a small selection of shops and plenty of tearooms Read moreand restaurants. There is a small supermarket and a stunning beach a short walk away. We also would reccomend going to Golitha falls, St. Michaels mount and Heligans from here. Hide

We go on a walking holiday every year, and this was by far the nicest accommodation we have stayed in. As walkers, the steep climb to the house was doable, but more infirm guests might want to consider this. I surveyed Shutta road, and there was no way my car (a Skoda Enyaq) was going to fit. I would suggest the largest you could get there is a Read moreFord Focus sized vehicle. However, there was an allocated parking space a few minutes walk away, as well as fast chargers for EVs. The decor and equipment in the house was excellent. A lovely kitchen, with an island, and ample crockery, pots and pans and enough dishwasher and washing machine tabs for our 4 night stay. The beds were comfy and the rooms quiet, and the bathrooms were new and clean. The TVs in the house came with good streaming services, and there was a nice stereo and PS2 (which we didn't use, but was a nice touch). Definitely recommended for active people, with great access to coastal walks and the station. Hide

A stunning large house with beautiful views. An extremely comfortable home that the owners have thoughtfully and tastefully furnished and decorated with the holidaymaker in mind.

The house was spotless, beautifully decorated and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Further, the service from original cottages was superb! They were friendly, polite and extremely effective at resolving two minor queries during our stay.

Fantastic place to stay, views are spectacular and accommodation is clean. Cannot fault it in any way, but some people may find the steep incline to the property challenging
