If you have the kids with you, spend a day at Greenwood Park (3.5 miles) where you can race on the go-kart track or Gypsywood park (1.5 miles). Alternatively, explore the fascinating Llanberis Slate museum (5.3 miles), which dates back to 1861 and showcases the region’s proud industrial heritage. In the evening, come home to the cottage’s patio garden and enjoy a glass of wine under the starry skies.

Step inside this sophisticated, single-storey retreat and you’ll immediately be welcomed by a spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area. This social heart of the home boasts characterful exposed beams and an open fire that houses a crackling wood burner. Slip onto the sofa to make yourself at home in the bright and cheerful lounge area. Here, catch up on your favourite shows on the Smart TV before heading to the country-style kitchen to cook up some dinner. The master bedroom boasts an elegant king-size bed, while the second room offers two cosy single beds. Both bedrooms benefit from peaceful garden views and are served by the well-appointed family bathroom with its free-standing bath and walk-in shower.

The cottage was wonderful, spacious and very comfortable. The welcoming hamper was great. Kids loved the location especially the sheep and lambs seems from the front windows and the very generous back garden. Highly recommended and will hopefully return again.

The cottage is clean, well-equipped, spacious and comfortable. It is very close to a lot of visitor attractions and not too far from some excellent beaches. There are shops and a pub nearby but the cottage itself is in a very quiet location. We felt very welcome and will certainly return soon.

We have stayed in many holiday cottages and this is by far the best, spotlessly clean and a very generous welcome hamper. Would definitely recommend. 5*
