Beudy Tawe is only 8 miles from Swansea and is set on a peaceful hillside farm in the Swansea Valley. Nestled between the mountains of the Brecon Beacons and the coastal haven of Gower this Swansea Holiday Cottage is a perfect place to relax or to make the most of all the attractions and activities in the area.

Ground floor

Open plan kitchen diner with stylish fitted kitchen, electric oven, microwave, toaster, grill, coffee maker and TV. The dinner table has seating for 6.

Lounge with large 50” TV, DVD and comfy leather sofas. Double doors opening out onto garden area and fantastic views.

Upstairs

2 small double bedrooms both with wardrobes and both enjoy great views across the valley. Double bed with access from one side of the bed only

1 bunk bed room with 2 adult size bunk beds.

2 bathrooms with half size bath and shower over bath, wc and wash basin.

Outside

Patio area with bench and enclosed large field, ½ acres of lawns to enjoy and also wooden gazebo and BBQ area that is shared with one other cottage.

There is also a shared laundry room with washing machine and dryers

Gas central heating and electric included.

Welcome pack on arrival includes tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits.

Bed linen and towels provided.

Wi-Fi available.

High chair, travel cot and stair gate available in the cottage. Please bring your own bed linen for the cot.

The following items are also provided at the cottage for your stay… Kitchen: salt and pepper, kitchen roll, washing up liquid/dishwasher tablets, new dishcloths and scourers, tin foil and cling film. Bathroom: liquid hand soap and 2 toilet rolls per toilet. General cleaning products: bleach, shower cleaner, anti bacterial spray etc.

No smoking inside.

Pets welcome(Max 2 dogs) at £15 each, but not allowed on furniture or in bedrooms. Please note this property does not accept cats. You are not permitted to leave pets unattended at the property at any time, as stated in booking conditions. 

No car charging from the properties, the nearest charge point is at Tesco Pontardawe, 1.5 miles away

We had a fabulous time at the cottage. It was equipped to the highest of standards, in an enviable location. Our interaction with the host was really helpful and the extraordinary amount of outdoor space was wonderful for the grandchildren. We would definitely book again.

Absolutely loved the property. The owner was magnificent and very helpful. She made everything very pleasant and welcoming. We have a wonderful gift hamper upon arrival with tea coffee and some goodies. We will definitely be returning. Highly recommend Beudy Tawe!!!

The welcome basket was just such a lovely surprise. The property has everything you need, brilliant bedrooms, and a fantastic living room. Great venue to explore such a beautiful part of Wales, smiled the whole time we were in the garden as it has such a fantastic views. Perfect hosts, so kind and helpful. We will be back!

We were a party of 2 adults, 4 children (aged 6-12) and 2 dogs. This was the best equipped cottage we have stayed in so far. There are multiple private fields in which to exercise your dog and local footpaths on the doorstep. You can drive into the local town of Pontardowe in 5 minutes for Tesco, Lidl, a pub etc. We had days out at the beaches iRead moren the Gower (under an hours drive) and also saw waterfalls on walks in the Brecon Beacons. Beautifully presented, clean and well equipped cottage which was fantastic for our family of 5 plus dog. The upstairs is very compact but the downstairs was spacious and very comfortable and the outside space was ideal for the dog and teenagers. Lovely visits to the Gower Peninsula, including Oxwich Bay, and the caves in the Brecon Beacons. WouldRead more really recommend! Hide

Fantastic property in a fantastic location. The owner was lovely to talk to over the phone and the cottage was generously pack with essentials as well as a amazing welcome pack. Extremely clean and despite the gorgeous rural location, there were friendly towns to visit close by.

Beautiful cottage in a wonderful rural setting, the owners have obviously put a lot of thought in to the extras there was a lovely welcome basket and the cupboards stocked with cooking and cleaning essentials. Lots to do in the area if you enjoy outside activities, plenty of walking, beaches and sight seeing. We had a great time.

A lovely cottage for meet up with family. Everything we needed and a superwelcome pack. Beautiful quiet location with far reaching views. Plenty of outside space for children and dogs. The summer house was an unexpected treat.

Great place to stay and many places to visit for kiddies and adults. The owner had made every effort with little touches and the accommodation very clean. The shared gardens could have been a problem with both parties having dogs but it worked well for us having friendly neighbours and next door pooch! Kids loved playing outside; perfect for frisRead morebee etc with lots of safe space. TV reception disappointing and limited channels; Netflix would have been ideal, lucky we had our laptop for kiddies when they were tired. All in all definitely recommend. Beautiful location with fabulous views. The property is immaculate and very well stocked with basics including a welcome pack on arrival. We mastered the steep lane approach. Finding a suitable holiday venue that is suitable for grandchildren, parents and grandparents is challenging. This particular location was a little away from the coast whiRead morech was clear at booking, however we underestimated just how long it would take to drive to beaches and into Swansea.. one hour minimum each way due to poor road network and volume of local traffic. That was the only negative about this really lovely property. Hide

This house was perfect...no other words for it. After a horrible 8 months to get away to this property was a dream. Jayne is fantastic, the grounds and house superb, the welcome box sublime no one has ever done a welcome pack like this one. Will we be back 100%
