The Dragon’s Eye wakes up once more, to a beautiful lake view in the heart of the West Wales countryside. As featured on ‘Cabins in the Wild’ series (Channel 4 and Netflix), this award-winning cabin offers a truly unique opportunity to see Wales through its legendary eye. With stainless steel shingles resembling a dragon’s scales, this unique glamping unit will really fire your imagination. This solar-powered cabin offers a unique opportunity to fully disconnect, as it is free from TV and WiFi, allowing you to immerse yourself completely in nature and enjoy the peaceful countryside.

Relax on the large rotating bed and enjoy a stunning view of the beautiful Welsh landscape (night and day) through the full-height glass ‘eye’ or from your elevated patio. Or cwtch up in the warmth of the wood burner while protected from the elements by the sheep’s wool insulation. End the day with a hot shower in the walk-in wet room, then turn the bed around from the world so that the dragon can sleep tight. This is a unique experience staying at this studio-style accommodation.

There is plenty to do on site, with a boat and canoes provided for a relaxing day on the lake, the option of fishing, and access to a shared hot tub, games room, and pizza oven. You can also enjoy the company of donkeys on site. Had the best get an away here and chose to stay in the glass cabin right near the wildlife (the donkeys were especially friendly). Waking up to the most beautiful scenic views is something me and my partner mostly enjoyed. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay and your personal gestures.

The cottage was really cozy and welcoming. It was an added plus to see the donkeys and sheep. The baby donkey in particular made my holiday. The hot tube was in the perfect location, overlooking the mountains, it was a stunning view. There was plenty of activities therefore you didn't need to leave the site. I would highly recommend coming here!

Quirky little home in a beautiful part of Wales. The property is a lot smaller than the photos suggest, with limited equipment. However the location is lovely, would be better in the summer months.

I really loved how cosy the environment and lodge itself felt, to be honest the rotating bed feature was my favourite. Perfect way to see the sky in the morning or to get some privacy at night.
