This detached 5 star cottage just outside Porthgain on the St Davids Peninsula has great sea and countryside views and is ideal for couples, friends or a family holiday. Offering the best of both worlds with many activities available nearby (such as coasteering, surfing, walking and fishing) you can choose to be as active as you like or you can simply relax and take it easy in front of the cosy log burner or visit one of the many great places to eat in the area.

Ground floor

Open plan living and dining area with comfy recliner sofas, woodburner, TV (Freesat) with HDMI connector, DVD. Dining table and chairs to seat 4.

Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, electric cooker and hob, full sized fridge freezer.

Utility room with storage space.


Upstairs

Bedroom 1 - Double bedroom, fitted wardrobes, vanity station and wash basin. Great sea views.

Bedroom 2 - Twin room with 2 single beds. Great sea views.

Bathroom - Bath with electric shower, wc and wash basin.


Garden

Private rear patio area with table and chairs and BBQ. Side lawned area (with washing line if required).

The cottage more than exceeded our expectations. The condition of the property inside and out is excellent. A major bonus is the very thick stone walls which kept the downstairs very cool even during the hottest of days during the recent June heatwave. The kitchen is very well equipped and all was spotlessly clean as was the rest of the cottage.Read more The lounge is large and has two large settees that have amazing electrically adjustable seats to relax in and watch the large TV. There is a log burner and also central heating but neither was required for this holiday. Water pressure was excellent with a choice of electric shower or hot water system for a bath. Parking is private off road attached to the cottage which is adequate for 2 cars. Views from the top garden are across farm land with the sea in the distance. It is right next to the road but the traffic is very very minimal as it is a single track. There is another sheltered sitting area by the back door with a table and a small BBQ if required. The location was perfect for our needs. The cottage is on a quiet road which mainly had farm traffic on it. Point to note that this cottage is located right by a farm and it is a farming area of Wales. We new this when booking and hence the typical farm smells where not a surprise or a problem when sitting outside. None of the smells propagated indoors. There are a few local places to eat but not really walkable. a 5 to 10minute drive is required. The friendly owners of the cottage have an adjacent cottage and where available if we needed anything, Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in South Wales and always enjoyed coming back to the cottage after a long day of exploring. Had a lovely week in this comfortable cottage with every facility we needed. The owners, Anne and Howard were on hand when we had a couple of small issues and overall, everything was pretty much perfect!! Thank you.

A comfortable, cosy cottage. A beautiful location with sea views. Great for exploring so many incredible beaches and the dramatic Pembrokeshire coastline. Something for everyone.
