Surrounded by rolling hills and open farmland, this Mid Wales cottage with its own private hot tub is the perfect getaway for a family, couples or friends who want a peaceful countryside location. Tranquil, secluded and without wifi and mobile signal it really is an 'off-grid" retreat, perfect to relax, unwind and re-charge. The area is ideal for walking, cycling, fishing and many more outdoor activities.

Ground floor

Open plan kitchen dining area and lounge. Fully equipped kitchen with fridge and 1 freezer tray, toaster, kettle, microwave, electric oven and hob. Dining area with table and chairs for 4. Full sized freezer and washing machine are housed in an out-building (shed).

Lounge with wood burner (first basket of logs included), comfy leather chairs and a smart TV, DVD player.

Bathroom - Spacious shower unit, heated towel rail, WC and basin.

Bedroom 1 - Double bedroom with storage cupboard and a dressing table. 

Bedroom 2 - Twin bedroom (2 single beds) with plenty of storage.


Outside

Fully enclosed garden. Covered patio area with hot tub and bbq with garden furniture. Side and rear lawned areas and front tarmac area. Shed (with the freezer).

  • Bed linen, towels and hairdryer provided.
  • Heating and electricity included. 
  • Travel cot (please request on booking) please bring your own cot bedding.
  • No high chair
  • No smoking
  • No pets allowed
  • Plenty of private parking space
  • Mobile phone signal is very patchy. You can just about get signal on some networks by walking to top of lane.
  • Home delivery is available from Tesco (and others)
  • 1 basket of wood is provided and more can be purchased locally.
  • The following items are also provided at the cottage for your stay… Kitchen: salt and pepper, kitchen roll, washing up liquid new dishcloths and scourers, tin foil and cling film. Bathroom: liquid hand soap and 1 toilet rolls per toilet. General cleaning products: cleaning spray etc.
  • There is a small stream in front of the property. Although this is small stream please do not leave young children unsupervised.
  • 2 bedrooms – 1 double, 1 twin
  • 1 shower room with WC
  • Electric oven, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge with 1 freezer tray

This is a spectacular place, slightly off grid, surrounded by fields and more fields, perfect getaway for resting a relaxing. Nice drive to Llandridod wells not too far, with all you need shops wise, nice boating lake. Lambs were an added bonus in the next field a birds of prey. A true gem of a place

Amazing villa and stunning location. Hot tub at night looking at the stars and watching the kites by day. If you want to get away from the hussle of life than this is for you. No phone signal, no internet which is perfect for those wanting to escape. Hot tub was amazing after a days cycling. Elan Valley is abiut 15 miles away and once on the mRead moreain road an easy drive. This was our second visit and wont be the last. The owners are lovely, Glyn is so nice, me and the hubby could sit and talk to him all day. Will miss the cottage and Glyn. See you soon Hide

Absolutely amazing long weekend away to switch off from the world. The cabin is located in a very private area thats not overlooked by any other houses. Its a beautiful place to sit in the hot tub and watch the stars. Inside, the cabin is presented very well it was extremely clean and cosy with the heating being left on for our arrival. EverythinRead moreg was provided and anything you could need was available. The little treats including the biscuits, milks and eggs were a brilliant touch. The phone signal was spotty but just enough to send messages and there was full signal/4G just at the top of the hill so it wasnt missed. There was also plenty of games and dvds provided to keep us entertained. I couldnt recommend the cabin and its location more as a rural private getaway. I cant wait to stay again ! Hide

We absolutely loved our 4 day weekend break at the lodge. Clean and well equipped with everything that you need for cooking, cleaning, and to just relax and enjoy your stay. The lodge can be tricky to find but not too hard, it is in such an amazing quiet area and really is a retreat off-the-grid location, absolutely loved it. This cottage is amazing, everything you need down to even kitchen roll! ,hot tub was amazing at temperature when we arrived also heating on low,log fire is so cozy best ever we are 100 percent going back

This place was outstanding ,everything and more that we wanted. Lovely to just relax and chill and forget about everyday life. Very clean, tidy and everything there that we needed there. Had a food shop delivered on the evening we arrived which was very handy. Meet the owners on our departure and they were very friendly. A lovely secluded location. Beautiful sky's by day, wonderful dark sky's at night. Perfect location for viewing the night sky in all it's glory. A well set out property, equipped with most thing you need. Ample parking area, lovely lawned area. An abundance of birds to watch. An excellent location to relax, unwind and think. Location , just perfect and so peacefully quiet. We wanted to get away from noise and the little cabin was just what we needed . We had an issue with the shower and the owners attempted to fix it very quickly, thank you :) the bed was quite comfortable too . Few different walks from the cottage , and Tescos is close enough.

Excellent location with lots of local wildlife . The lodge is clean and well equipped. Our hosts were on hand if needed and left us a welcome pack on our arrival . Hot tub was clean and warm . We will be back

A beautiful well equipped lodge. The location was fantastic. We really enjoyed having the Red Kites as our guest visitors. There are some excellent walks and I do recommend a trip to the nearby Elan valley.

This was a lovely and peaceful place to stay, we felt so relaxed the whole time we was there. The views from the lodge are truly breathtaking and even caught a few glimpses of two beautiful red kites in the area. Cant wait to have another break away here again.

We have just spent a totally chilled out week at the lodge. Having no Internet or phone was no problem at all when needed we found it. Loved the wildlife around us and was totally in awe at the sky at night, no light pollution so the stars were amazing. We are looking forward to returning. Loved meeting Glynn thank you for an amazing week
