Swallow Cottage is set in a lovely location in a peaceful rural part of Anglesey. This traditional white painted cottage is one of a collection of cottages set within the grounds of what was once a large farm, and which is now a wonderful area with a complementary on site coarse fishing lake. A short drive takes you to some of Anglesey's best beaches and villages and many other popular attractions. The historic village of Moelfre is 7.5 miles away, the market town of Llangefni 7 miles, and the popular surfing beach and village at Rhosneigr 10.5 miles.

This group of five cottages can together sleep up to 15 people. 

The cottage: this lovely cottage has a real country feel with its open plan living area, impressive vaulted, high beamed ceilings, cosy wood burning stove, wooden flooring and white painted exterior. This barn conversion is all on one level apart from 5 steps into the property. Central heating

Living room: this open plan room has a great spacious feel. The living area has comfortable arm chairs set around the wood burning stove (initial logs provided) and Freeview TV/DVD. There is a built in seating area around the country pine table.

Kitchen: the country style fitted kitchen has a dishwasher, electric cooker, fridge/freezer and microwave. 

Bedrooms: there are two pretty bedrooms, both carpeted and with pine furniture. One has a 4ft bed (used as a spacious single) and the other a double.

Shower room: with heated towel rail, WC, basin and and modern corner shower unit.

Outside: to the front, is a small paved seating area with tables and chairs. There is another shared seating area opposite the cottage with a barbecue. The extensive grounds have winding grass paths through them leading to the beautiful coarse fishing lakes which have decking areas to sit and admire the wildlife. Secure outside bike storage available. Private parking.

The owners of this collection of properties are on hand to ensure your stay is of the highest standard at all times. Many guests tend to spend time just enjoying the relaxing environment however for the more adventurous there is plenty to see and do as the location is very central.

There is no on site washing machine but a laundry service is available for guests.

Wonderful location for walkers, fishermen and dogs. Flash up your birdsong app whilst walking pooch round the lake in the morning. Very rural so a bit of a hike to the nearest pub.

Wonderful cottage in lovely grounds. Good location to be able to visit several places. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. This was our second stay and we wouldn't hesitate to return. Our dog loved exploring around the lakes.

The owner (and his dog) were very welcoming, the log burner had already been lit before we arrived. The cottage was spotlessly clean and warm, the log burner was superb and we used it every evening. We were even given a few more logs on our 2nd day. It is centrally located although quite remote but everywhere we visited on Anglesey was half an houRead morers drive or under. The fishing lakes were secluded and perfect for fishing if you wanted a quiet spot! Very dog friendly. We would definitely visit again. Hide

We had a fantastic week at the cosy Swallow Cottage. The spacious cottage is very well presented with modern living & featuring many period features. The wood burner was a great bonus over & above the separate central heating system . The picturesque fishing pond was great for walking our dog . The location is in central Anglesey so exploring the iRead moresland is only a short drive in any direction. Many wonderful coastal villages & towns to visit. The old copper mine not that far away was well worth a visit too.We knocked into Andrew the owner a couple of times when dog walking, he is very friendly & informative about the area. We look forward to returning in the future. Hide

Absolutely beautiful spot to escape from it all. It's in the centre of the island so easy to get everywhere you need. The lake is amazing and my husband went fishing every day

We had the best holiday! In fact my son said it was the best holiday he'd ever had! The owners were wonderful, there if you needed them without being intrusive. My husband went fishing every day. Even the dog thoroughly enjoyed the holiday. It's a perfect location, quiet but close to so many places. A week wasn't long enough, so we'll definitely bRead moree back to Swallow Cottage!
