Crossing Keeper's Cottage is situated in the centre of the pretty village of Grosmont, at the heart of the picturesque North York Moors, yet only a ten-minute drive to the coast. The cottage offers great views of the station and the steam trains. Grosmont is a popular tourist destination, famous for its heritage line with connections to Whitby and Pickering and the beautiful main Esk Valley railway line between Middlesbrough and Whitby. The North York Moors National Park offers fantastic opportunities for walking and cycling, and the historic town of Whitby has a beautiful sandy beach and many tourist attractions, such as the Abbey, the 199 steps, St Mary Church, the Swing Bridge and a great choice of boutique shops, tearooms and restaurants.
