A typical former fisherman’s cottage, Sea Reach is to found hidden away in a narrow alley in the heart of East Looe. Set across three floors, it has much to offer a family or friends taking a holiday together. A well-equipped holiday home with modern kitchen appliances, a Smart TV and lots of space for 6 people. The cottage is 400 years old and this is evident in some of the character features such as the exposed beams and the attractive inglenook fireplace.

The harbour is just yards away and from here you can buy freshly-caught fish straight off the boats in the local famous fishmongers, take a boat trip out to Looe Island and marvel at the stunning views of the coastline or hike along the South West Coast Path with a picnic in your bag.

GROUND FLOOR:
Living Room: Leather sofas and armchair, Smart TV, Sony Bluetooth speaker. Woodburning stove.
Kitchen/Dining Room: Dining set for 6, fitted kitchen with 5-ring gas hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer.

FIRST FLOOR:
Bathroom: Bath, basin, w.c.
Bedroom 1: Double bed (4'6"), bedside tables, chest of drawers, wardrobe.
Bedroom 2: Twin beds (3'), bedside units, wardrobe.

GARDEN & PARKING: No garden but the beach and harbour are just yards away. Allocated small parking space for one car on the seafront, prepaid by the owners. For additional car parking there is public parking within easy reach in the Millpool Car Park 10 mins walk away. Please see Looe Parking for up more information.

Pets Welcome: Maximum 2; £25 per pet per week.
Power and Heat: Gas and electricity included in price, gas central heating. Woodburner in living room - logs not supplied but may be purchased locally.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided. Please bring your own beach towels.
Baby Equipment: Travel cot, highchair and stairgate provided.
Pub: 50yds   Shop: 50yds

NOTES: No smoking. WiFi provided. Mobile phone reception varies. As is typical of this type of cottage, the stairs are steep and unlikely to be suitable for people with mobility restrictions. Smart TV -  applications/streaming services available for guests to log in with their own accounts

The cottage is in a great location. It was extremely comfortable and well laid out. The welcome hamper was unexpected and very much appreciated.

A well equipped comfortable property in a great location. Lots of nice old features in a cosy cottage with enough storage space for a holiday. It was a bit noisy on Saturday night due to nearby bars but the ease of accessing everything and the nearby parking space made up for that. Great location in the heart of East Looe and really close to shops , restaurants, pubs and the beach. Traditional cottage with lig burner and old beams. We'll stocked kitchen.

This cottage is in a great location and is very well equipped for cooking as well as taking families to the beach. The beds were very comfortable and we had a great stay in this cottage. We would definitely recommend.

Really lovely place to stay, owner has his cottage very well equipped and thought of everything that you may need during your stay, from a beach cupboard to a tea and coffee cupboard. And to top that you have all the amenities on your door step.

We enjoyed our stay at Sea Reach and its proximity to the beach and centre of Looe. The cottage is pretty well equiped and it was a nice touch with food essentials + on arrival. It was all straight forward re getting the house keys and key for the parking space. The only negative was the cleaniliness in the kitchen/downstairs area. In a very old coRead morettage the odd few cobwebs and dust etc is to be expected. However I had to clean cupboards in order to put our food away as they were sticky and grubby. Remains of food items left to be helpful is fine if it is within date bottles clean etc.Some of the crockery, utensils and glasses were dirty smeary and not clean. In the end I washed before using. It seems a shame that this is not dealt with as there is a dish washer. Floors again downstairs were not very clean. I understand that the cottage allows dogs but we always use a towel for the dogs as they come in after they have been out and a stone floor is really easily mopped and carpets hoovered. Upstairs was fine.The travel cot was very useful as was the high chair. We asked for a stair gate which you confirmed by email was available and in the cottage. However when we arrived this was broken and would not have fitted the bottom of the stairs in the lounge. We resorted to using a broken airer to block the stairs and stop a one year old and two dogs escaping up them!! The smoke alarm started beeping in the middle of the night and the power downstairs in the kitchen went which was tricky with making bottles for a baby. We located the fuse box the next day & informed Richard who came out. However it was not clear what had caused the problem and attempts to retify the smoke alarm did not work so in the end we took the new battery out and the beeping seemed to stop. We informed Richard as to what we had done. But obviously this is not a long term solution as there is no back up if the power goes and there is a fire. The gas had to be checked whilst we were there which Richard apologised for and I understand that these jobs have to be done. But again when everyone is in the cottage and babies need naps it is not ideal especially as no specific time was able to be given and the engineer just turned up! It is a sweet cottage in a good location it just needs a bit of tlc and care to bring it up to the standard one would expect when paying rent for a holiday. The question below re recommendation is tricky. If the areas above were dealt with then yes because its location is great but from our experience this time probably not. Hide

We were very pleased with the cottage. the owners very kindly left some wine and snacks, it was extremely well equipped with everything you would need for a holiday.

The property was in a great location and was spacious and comfortable with everything you might need and more. There were a few minor areas where it seemed cleaning may have been missed (toilet pipe, behind bedside tables) but overall cleanliness was good and it did not negatively impact our stay.

We have been to this property multiple times and really enjoyed our stay. The facilities are brilliant and we especially appreciate the washer and dryer as we dont need to pack as much. The location is absolutely ideal, very central and a stones throw from the beach. Look forward to staying again soon
