Providing ground floor self-catering accommodation, Alice's is ideally situated on popular Pier Avenue. Turn left out of the front door and five minutes walk gets you to the pier and wonderful sandy beach, turn right and you’ll find the handy grocers and convenience store. A ten minute meander through some of Southwold’s pretty streets will have you in the heart of the High Street.

The outer door opens into a bright, clean communal hallway for the four apartments in the building. The hallway of Alice's has large built-in storage cupboards.
With large, high bay windows the living room is a lovely area which is flooded with natural light. This versatile space with its soft, calm colours makes a delightful place for dining or just relaxing on the comfortable sofas. There’s a wealth of entertainment choices available, including watching the 43” Smart television or streaming your own music to the Bluetooth stereo.

The kitchen offers all the facilities you will need for a self catering holiday and more; including a Nespresso machine. Later you can enjoy the luxury of a super king size bed with lots of bedroom storage space. The single bedroom has wood flooring with a rug for added comfort.

Southwold Pier Area - It is often said that nothing changes in Southwold. However, the much-acclaimed pier was rebuilt in 2001 and was the first to be constructed in England in over 50 years. It now fits in well with the painted beach huts, promenade and colourful flowerbeds. There is a shop, cafes and an alternative amusement arcade there. The selection of properties' hereabouts makes it an ideal location to stay in Southwold if you require quiet accommodation that is also close to the beach, town centre and the many footpaths across the marshes leading you to the less explored areas of the town.

Lovely warm, spacious and well equipped apartment with a nice welcome pack. Great location close enough to town centre and sea so you really dont need to drive anywhere. Plenty of parking on the street in front of property.

Spacious apartment with good facilities, very comfortable and clean. Only a short walk to the centre of town, we were able to park on the street outside.

I have stayed in many holiday rentals and Alice's is an exceptionally spacious, well equipped, well furnished and comfortable apartment for it's price bracket. We were supplied with a generous assortment of provisions. There is a comprehensive file of local information and instructions for all the equipment (e.g. tv and cooker). There is also a Read moreshelf of books and a cupboard of games. It is a longish walk into town (well, for me!) but if this property was in the centre of Southwold, it would probably be double the price. I hope to go back next year. Hide

A lovely spacious apartment well equipped In a good position. Near to the pier and beach and not too far from the shops. Lots of games and videos if the weather is bad.

Excellent location to walk to the beach and pier. The property has good size rooms. Comfortable beds good storage in bedrooms. Lots of natural daylight. Really good blinds and black out curtains. Really well equipped kitchen Plenty of off street parking.

We had a lovely week in Southwold. The flat is in an excellent location and we found it easy to park and get around. The flat was very comfortable and spacious and on arrival there was bread, milk, eggs, butter, jam & some coffee pods which was a lovely touch, and gratefully received. The kitchen was well-equipped although the kettle needs a deRead morescaling! The small bedroom was a little dusty in places - annoying as our 5 year old likes to touch everything! The flat looks out onto a private garden at the back which was off putting at times when you want to get changed and theres a family of 5 eating their dinner outside the bedroom window - but obviously pulling the curtains solves that problem. The shower was excellent, really powerful and the bath was a good size for our son to splash around in. The blackout blinds in the bedrooms were very good. Other than comments I passed on about a few issues that are easily fixed, we found this flat to be clean, spacious and well-equipped and a convenient base for us. We were there for three nights while we went to Latitude, so were only there to sleep and breakfast and for that it was perfect. My husband declared the bed to be the most comfortable he'Read mores slept in for a long time and the goodies provided (bread, eggs, milk etc) were very much appreciated. Hide
