Swan Lodge Barns lay half way between the well know coastal village of Cley and the lovely Georgian town of Holt. Taylors Barn and Bixes Barn are two single storey tastefully finished barn conversions which both sleep six guests This is an ideal arrangement for families or friends wishing to holiday together yet at the same time retain some private space. The dining table seats up to fourteen in Taylors Barns so everyone can gather together, for lively lunches or slow suppers. The grounds are well kept and have quiet areas to relax in.  From mid July 2026 we welcome the exciting addition of the new large bespoke heated games room and a separate 180 sq ft gym, enticing the young and old with its assortment of entertainment options. Shop/Pub: 1 mile

Taylors Barn has an open plan living area which is  super place to gather together to relax on the comfy sofas or enjoy long lazy meals at the dining table which seats up to fourteen, three spacious bedrooms and two beautifully finished  bathrooms complete this lovely property.

Bixies Barn is stylish and sleek with a private screened patio, the perfect place to enjoy a quiet coffee and catch up on some reading.  The open plan living space is a great place to relax, the dining table seats up to six, and there are three attractive bedrooms and two bathrooms making this a super place to stay.

Notes:  These are non -smoking properties. Mobile reception – variable. Young children should be supervised at all times whilst playing in the woodland play area and on the play equipment. Due to nearby residential properties music is not be played or be audible out side the properties. 

The Georgian town of Holt is a pretty town just inland from the north Norfolk Coast. Offering plenty of shopping opportunities it also benefits from having a good range of cafes, pubs and restaurants offering locally produced food and drink. On the outskirts of Holt is Holt Railway Station where you can pick up the Poppy Line and enjoy a train ride to Weybourne and Sheringham on a diesel or steam train – great fun for children and adults alike! Cley which is a short drive north is a pretty village with a windmill, art gallery, delicatessen and tea rooms. It is also home to Norfolk Wildlife Trust visitor centre, Cley Marshes Centre where you can sit in the café and enjoy panoramic views across the marshes or birdwatch from one of the hides.

We had the most fabulous time staying in Swan Lodge Barns to celebrate a big birthday for my wife. Having the two barns in the same courtyard meant we could sleep 12 people comfortably and we all had our own space. The larger of the two barns was a great design and perfect for us all to meet up in the evening to enjoy a family meal and play games.

These holiday barns are fantastic. The location is ideal being so close to the beaches and equally Holt with its shops and pubs only 5 minutes away. On site, it is spacious and tranquil with beautiful views over fields and woods. Swan Lodge Barns is an ideal set up for a great family holiday. Because you are in two barns it enable families to have bit of space from each other whilst still being able to socialise and eat together. We hit the jackpot with the weather and all felt like we had a truly relaxing and enjoyable holiday.
